I have a mare up for discussion!!

Kara is a 15 year old bay mare. Shes big and stout and has such a SWEET personality! Before she came to us she was being tossed around from sale barn to sale barn! We brought her home got her cleaned up got her feet trimmed fed her and loved her and are working on finding her a forever family!
She has been UTD on all her vaccinations with us! and we’ve had her under saddle and the kids have rode her around ba****ck!
Here are some pros and cons on sweet Kara!

Pros:
🍀:She’s big and stout.
🍀: she’s got a very sweet personality to match her size.
🍀: she’s that perfect age❤️
🍀: She makes a great kids headline pony.
🍀: she’s UTD on everything
🍀15.1H
🍀nice sturdy hooves.
🍀will free lunge WTC in round pen and has some good foot work to her.

Cons…
🍀 She only knows basics.
🍀 she can be scared of a spray bottle. (She’s getting better)
🍀she will stand for the farrier but takes a patient farrier as she can get inpatient standing at times. (Also getting better as we trim her)
🍀 she has healing sores on her neck from the sales they are dry and trying to go away.

Someone did this girl an injustice and did more harm by putting her in a sale barn and I don’t wanna see her back in one! This is a VERY nice mare that likely has a good set of papers hiding somewhere. I want her to find her FOREVER place where someone will take up time with her and stick her on some trails! We will be tuning her up till she finds her family ❤️

Pop a whip off of her and cut flips and she does not care!
We have a train horn that she doesn’t even flinch at!
She is someone next trail/ranch/babysitter prospect with many years to do someone right!
This girl is a confidence booster and we love her dearly! She is now looking for her own forever family!

She currently has shoes all the way around but doesn’t have to have them!

He is a 13 year old mini who has been loved by our kids and lesson kids for several years! He is not spooky about anything and is a very easy keeper. Loads and unloads off any trailer and is great for the farrier.
It’s really heartbreaking to let him go but as the smaller pony here my kids have outgrown him and are looking for bigger ponies.
Happy will take care of your kids for years to come and is looking for a soft place to land.

This is a 14.2H mare when I got her she weighed 650 lbs and we have her up to now 820 lbs so she has a little ways to go but this mare is amazing and so I wanna offer her up at a “cheap” price.
The more weight we get on her and the more we do with her the more her price will go up or we may just keep her ourselves 😍😍

Cocoa is an ex camp horse that wasn’t a long the road somewhere fed properly or cared for like the queen she is… however she has a heart of gold and will be your kids next bestfriend!! 🥰

Here are some good things about cocoa 🌸
🌸stands ground tied or hard tied
🌸stands to be mounted
🌸trailers really well
🌸meets you at the gate and nickers when she sees you coming.
🌸good beginner safe mount and perfect for your child she yawns when you put a kid on her back.
🌸 she rides so well you feel like your floating on her.
🌸proving to be an easy keeper just mistreated by someone a long the lines.
🌸not scared of anything
🌸walk trot lope both ways on a lunge line and has excellent ground manners.
🌸UTD on everything.
🌸would make an excellent trail horse.
🌸ride her in a halter just as well as any bit.
🌸recently dewormed and fixing to have her feet trimmed again.

Cons!!

❤️‍🩹she could use some more weight but we’ve put a good bit on her already
❤️‍🩹she wants a forever home and if she can’t get it she has it here…
❤️‍🩹a little tight on steering but nothing bad, I’ve done lots of flexing and figure eights with her and it’s getting better.

SOLD Long post alert 🚨 but please 🙏 read till the end 😊 We have a little surprise for everyone our training mare Cambria (Mustang) is now up for discussion at a very reasonable price! She’s 20 years young and is an absolute angel! She is very in your pocket and would make an amazing horse for a child with supervision. I say (supervised) because she’ will need LIGHT work! Our vet came out and said she could have some arthritis in her back end (hock injections could help this but would need X-rays to confirm) but she does start getting painful after long periods of work and very consistent work! Our vet suggests that walk trot and light riding would do her just fine and that a kid would be absolutely fine for her! An ideal home would be a lesson program where Cambria could be worked with kids for short periods at a time an hour lesson at a walk or trot would be fine or a therapeutic place where she could be spoiled on the ground or for short periods of time! Cambria has been in training with me for the last few weeks and she’s been doing fantastic but is unable to continue the training program and so she’s looking for a home. ❤️ Pros for Cambria: 🥰Stands tied, cross tied and ground tied 🥰stands for farrier and picks up all 4 feet without issue 🥰loves grooming and giving kisses and treats. 🥰EXCELLENT Ground manners she is not pushy. 🥰loads and unloads a trailer like a good citizen should. 🥰stands beautiful to be mounted and saddled and to get off. 🥰rides in an ORING or a halter/hackamore 🥰done some obstacle work with me and will go through anything and cross over absolutely anything! 🥰No spook in her body what so ever she will take care of you! 🥰 Beautiful walk trot lope but only sound for light riding currently at a walk and a little trot. 🥰long beautiful mane and tail Cons: 🤷‍♀️: almost sure she has some arthritis. 🤷‍♀️:Light Riding Only 🤷‍♀️:she’s older But all this aside sh

M&J Was created by My Husband and I in 2017 when we bought our home that September, After growing up with horses and having people on my side to help me learn and grow as a person and horse person and after my husband having many years in the driving field we decided to create our business M&J Farms, With this we have taken on:

We offer Hauling and Transportation all over the US and our prices start at 2.25 a mile under 500 Miles and 3.25 a Mile over 500 Miles. We do offer Discounts for multiple horses to help with shipping costs on everyone's behalf and we try to be fair as we know how it is to not have reliable transportation in our lives, We do not just do this for fun, IT IS A JOB TO US! We are insured and Certified, we have tons of references onsite and offsite and also carry Mortality Insurance on horses if owners opt it at their expense. We have payment agreements and waivers that are signed and gone over before each trip. These prices include Fresh water, Hay and shipping boots for the duration of the trip and any special medical attention and feed as listed by owners.. more info is disclosed in contracts and waivers at time agreement of transportation is made.
