Chasing Laurels is now scheduling for fall 2024 Girl Scout badge clinics. We have something for every level of Scouts.

Badge clinics can take place at the stables, Jester Park, Elk Rock State Park Or be customized.

Good Morning! For the safety of the horses and people all lessons are cancelled till Wednesday. And, Chasing Laurels will be closed for the next 48 hours.
Current wind Chill at the barn is -31° real feel. And will be falling. There are windchill warnings, winter storm watches/warnings, blizzard warnings, happening during the next few days. Travel is still currently not advised. Please stay safe, please stay warm, and keep in touch!

So cool! Where’s the Friesian though? 😂😂

This will be fun! The US Postal Service will issue a set of horse stamps in 2024. The horses were photographed by Stephanie Moon Photography of Ohio and Karen Wegehenkel Horse Photography of Oregon. Other fun stamps coming next year feature turtles, manatees, and bluegrass music!

Todays lessons are cancelled. The heat index /humidity will be to high. Please remember to keep yourselves and animals hydrated and as cool as possible in this heat.

Today looks to be the coolest day till Friday. So, we will go ahead and have the barn hang out day! 11:00-4:00, $50. Lunch is provided. We we plan to invite attendees to rinse horses and play horse board games in front of the big fan, if it starts to get too warm.
