Ingredient labels... do you read them?

A big topic that I focus on when I talk to new clients is the QUALITY of NuVet supplements because no other company measures up. Plain and simple.

Below is a chart that I put together to help compare NuVet to other common pet supplements out there- two are commonly used by breeders (who usually end up switching to NuVet 😛) and the third is widely recommended by vets. All of the objectionable ingredients in these products have been highlighted in red.

The amount of red on this chart makes you scratch your head a little bit, right?
The highlighted ingredients are typically lower grade and can be deficient in nutrients. Ingredients like sugars and fillers can actually have adverse effects after long term use.

It’s with great sadness that we regret to inform everyone of the emotional turmoil we have had to face yesterday, and not having any puppies to share with everyone!

We spent all day yesterday hoping and praying that we would have a full litter of pups to be able to share with everyone, but unfortunately we have run into major complications and our Kali girl and was unable to produce a litter.

She has had issues in the past but we wanted to give it one last try to produce a wonderful, well tempered litter full of personality.

It’s unfortunate but sometimes this happens and you do not always have answers, but sadly as a breeder this happens sometimes. We were so dang excited but this is the outcome.

For health reasons we have decided to get her fixed and just enjoy having her around as our pet.

We have other litters on the way but wanted to make sure and let everyone know what is going on.

We are so heartbroken but more so happy that she is okay and still able to enjoy her and have her still with us!!!

I think mama is getting pretty close. She has started to have some heavy breathing and acting pretty miserable. I sure feel for little missy having to give birth during these hot summer months!

This is another one of our beloved pups named Luna. She went to a wonderful home in Grantsville and is absolutely adored by her family. We love getting updates and seeing how well our babies are taken care of!

We as breeders can’t stress enough the Importance of cleanliness. It really is one of the top priorities for us and majority of what we do revolves around constantly cleaning and making sure our fur babies live in the cleanest environment possible!

Keeping a nice clean kennel prevents sickness and disease that in otherwise could ultimately jeopardize your entire stock. Below is just a little glimpse of our weekly pressure washing of all our kennels inside and out. We try do this as well as sanitize the entire area.

We strive to provide the best and healthiest of dogs possible no matter the cost! Our dogs mean the world to us and we will always provide them with the best!
