My 3 nieces are going on a trip after Christmas and have asked sell dog treats to buy souvenirs, etc! 100% of the money will be going to them.

I will help them when needed and supply ingredients, but it’s going to be them doing it and I will be giving them creative freedom. 🤪

I am also giving the oldest one control of the page and taking the orders/responding to messages, so reach out to my personal page if needed 😂❤️

Items will be ready for pick up this afternoon! All orders will need to be picked up in Russellville on Saturday before 8 if possible❤️ We don’t really have the space to store many of them in the fridge for pick up tomorrow, only a couple of orders!

They will be selling:

🐾Peanut butter bones $1.50 each
🐾Bundt Cakes $2 each or $3 for 2

They are also accepting “pay whatever you can” orders if the prices aren’t ideal for you!

XL Christmas Pupcakes 🌲

These are made in 2.15inx2.5in baking cups rather than traditional cupcake liners like usual, so they’re quite a bit bigger!

These will be first come first serve until they are all picked up- pick up from my home in Russellville😊 I have 13 available!

100% of ALL sales will go directly to NovaStar!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to check and see if anyone would be interested in ‘plain’ treat boxes. They are the same ingredients as the others, just not topped with the drizzle and blueberries.

I wanted to try these out because they are much easier to store. I can still make the topped ones on request for same day pickup!

If anyone is interested, I’ll be selling the plain ones for $8 for a box of 6, $10 for a box of 9 ❤️

The girls have officially sold out of treat boxes ❤️ Thank you so much to everyone who supported them! They had so much fun making them and getting to interact with their customers. If you’ve ordered already, the boxes are packaged and ready for pickup whenever you are! 😊

They made some extras to be able to take to the shelter pups today and one of their sweet customers (Sherry Roberson) donated her box to the shelter, so the girls got to go hand those out this afternoon.

Hello friends!

It’s been a while! This week, starting today (7-25-22) Capt. Anne’s barkery will be doing a ‘pop up shop’ and offering individual treats for sale as well as treat boxes. 😄

My nieces (ages 10, 12, and 13) are coming on a trip with us this weekend and wanted to learn a new skill as well as practice the responsibility of earning their own shopping money!

They will be guided in making all of the treats, and they will use the same quality ingredients and hygiene practices as when the treats were sold before.

If anyone would like to order, pick up will begin for some orders this evening! 🙂 If you do not want to purchase but have someone on your friends list who may, any shares will be greatly appreciated! ❤️

Here’s an example box from the past. Boxes can include:
✨Mini blueberry muffins
✨Blueberry Bundt cakes
✨Mini ‘chocolate’ (carob) cupcakes
✨Heart or circle ‘chocolate’ cakes (slightly larger)
✨Small peanut butter banana bone biscuits

They will be offering a variety box for $10, or an extra packed-full box for $15! Apart from the boxes, they will be selling individual treats starting at .50-$2.50 a piece 🙂

If you have figured out who the last post was about, please do not message them, leave bad reviews, bully in any way. I purposely cropped the name out to avoid this.

If this person would have asked me to delete my page, I immediately would have. No questions asked. I would not have been upset. I could still sell treats to friends on the side without a page.
They did not have to make me feel like the town was gossiping about me, that people think I’m weird and don’t like me, etc. That really hurt, and I have let people do similar things to me time and time again and I posted the cropped screenshots because I am setting the boundary of not lying to my customers on why I’m choosing not to sell anymore.

If you can support this person’s small business, please do. It is not my place to judge how this situation was handled, and we have ALL reacted to things in ways we wish we hadn’t when we were hurt. I have zero hard feelings against this person. They have expressed a need for business more so than me. I say this completely genuinely, I would rather just move past this- me no longer selling treats- for my own mental health and to support this other small business who is doing it for reasons other than as a hobby.

My first Facebook post making dog treats was in 2015. I have experimented on and off over the years and shared the treats with family and friends. I was always hesitant to make a page because I was worried people would judge or make fun.

After a very rough 2021, I was advised to find a hobby to help my mental health that isn’t contingent on physical health. The ingredients got expensive quick, and that’s why I decided to start selling them and make this page. I was having a lot of fun trying new things, taking cute pics, etc. However, this is just a hobby to me. It is not worth any kind of conflict at 25, having people in this small town messaging around gossiping about me, being bullied and certainly not worth damaging my mental health.

I will no longer be selling treats. I am making this post rather than just deleting the page because I had some people who planned on ordering soon, and I’m attaching the screenshots because I’m tired of making up excuses for situations that aren’t my problem.

I’ve been contemplating making a page for a while, but since I do treats only occasionally as a hobby I’ve been hesitant. I decided to go ahead anyway to spare the non-pet owners on my personal Facebook all the treat posts! 🤪

Backstory: I started making dog treats back when Anne was a little puppy. Anne has a LOT of food sensitivities, and we were finding that store bought treats were causing some significant GI upset, as well as contributing to her UTIs. I was also uncomfortable with a lot of the ingredients in the foods. This way, I’m able to know exactly what is in their treats and they are able to have more of them! I have learned a lot of tricks over time on how to make things low in fat, low calorie, etc while sneaking in the ‘good’ stuff. 🥰

In the treats:

•100% quality human ingredients

•Minimal ingredients to reduce allergen risk and to be gentle on the tummy

•No artificial dyes. All dyes are plant or fruit sourced

•No artificial preservatives. Each item’s shelf/fridge life will vary, but these are intended to be fresh baked goods to be consumed in the near future!

✨ I try to make treats as aesthetically pleasing as possible, but I will always go for the healthier option vs the easier option to work with decoration wise. I don’t claim to be the best or even great, especially with decorating, just getting a little more involved with my hobby. 🥰
