These guys play hard. Getting ready to put topsoil and organic cedar mulch in. You'd be surprised how much the ground compacts in 9 months time. Keeping up a containment is ongoing. Cedar mulch is one of the safest things to put down . We are considering concreting the dig guards. After this investment they will get permanent housing. They are inside every night and when the weathers bad. We are very lucky to be home to care for them.

Had a warm sunny walk at our friends property. Thankful for a private place. Strangers are often awed by Wolfdogs. My girl Kira is a Covid puppy. Socializing during lockdown was impossible. She's very shy of loud people. Tōna is confident and Sami isn't sure if he likes strangers. However all of them are dog social.

Kira Katya Lupa, I lost some of her best puppy pics. 🤷🏻‍♀️When we got her we thought our current pair of wolfdogs were in the mid upper mid category. Embark test showed low content. Kira's breeder provided her Embark when we purchased her. She is now 3 years old. A joy in most every way. Calm and doesn't tear up things. She had surprised me in that she can be protective of myself in my bedroom. She's a bit jealous of her siblings,too. We work on that daily.

Throwback to Tōnauac's home coming along with his brother Veran. Brought him home to Nate Fetcko. Tōna is lighter. He will be 2 on March 2nd. ♥️♥️♥️he's made a wonderful companion to auntie Kira. They play rough and need a playmate that can keep up. My older low content brothers weren't up to wrestling. They were also our balance and mobility partners at that point in life.

I figured some cute baby pictures were in order. This is Frost and Samir Alo, he's lighter and bigger than Samir. Playing with Opal the Schipperke. I brought Frost home with me for Becky. She has Kira's sister Sabre. You can see the type of containment we built.

We had triplets last night. This girl is weak on the back end. She's in Ari's room for the moment . Until we find her someone that wants to work with her. Two sisters are doing great. I was up with them until 3am. She has been bottle feeding off and on and it's 12 hours later. Ari's looking a little rough. Baby doe is doing better, her back legs will get stronger.

Loving the winter days. Some people get WDs and they live their entire lives in a pen. Ours are beside us every night unless one of us is traveling. Winter and stormy days they spend
in the house. Short times in their pens for exercise. Long walks around the property most nights.

"A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead. He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight. When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side. When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?' 'This is Heaven, sir,' the man answered. Would you happen to have some water?' the man asked. Of course, sir. Come right in, and I'll have some ice water brought right up'.The man gestured, and the gate began to open. 'Can my friend,' gesturing toward his dog, 'come in, too?' the traveller asked. 'I'm sorry, sir, but we don't accept pets.' The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog. After another long walk, and at the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence. As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book. 'Excuse me!' he called to the man. 'Do you have any water?' 'Yeah, sure, there's a pump over there, come on in..' 'How about my friend here?' the traveller gestured to the dog. There should be a bowl by the pump.' They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it. The traveller filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog. When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree. 'What do you call this place?' the traveller asked. This is Heaven,' he answered. 'Well, that's confusing,' the traveller said. 'The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.' 'Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That's hell.' 'Doesn't it make you mad for them to use your name like that?' I love the different eye colors. You have the arctic milk chocolate. The black phase amber. The Arctic type yellow.The Arctic bloodlines are very closely related. While next year looks to be a bit more diversified. There are a few breeders that have invested heavily into their arctic lineage. I have to admit, adding Samir Alo into our household was a quick decision. We are so blessed with his sweet and happy nature. He learns quickly with gentle redirection for the most part.
