Happy Veterans Day! Simply saying "thank you" can feel inadequate for the sacrifices veterans have made for the freedoms we cherish. At Petnership Veterinary Care, we wanted to go beyond words to show our gratitude. This year, we are proud to support K9s for Warriors, an organization dedicated to helping veterans reintegrate into society with the assistance of a service dog.

K9s for Warriors stands out for their commitment to veterans navigating the challenges of PTSD and traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). With a dedication to transparency and collaboration with the Human Animal Bond Research Institute, they strive to improve care and outcomes for those who have given so much.

Many of you may know the big beast was in a fender bender just before July 4th. Well - she's back! We are reassembling and testing everything with "help" from our trusty assistant Pepper dog. We restart surgeries next week!

Took "The Big Purple" mobile back to her birthplace in Ohio for some changes and maintenance. Grabbed a picture of Laboits wall of vehicles, it's amazing the work they do for us vets! Hated to say goodbye, (they took her to storage before we could grab a final pic!) but she'll be back in March, better than ever, can't wait to have her back!
