Our rescue partner is desperately in need for foster homes to try to get animals out of this cold weather. They take care of all expenses and you provide a loving, warm home for an animal until its forever family is ready!

With everything going on in the county, our emails are starting to become flooded with people requesting more help. We don’t have the resources or the space to take in all the animals that are being sent our way. It is heartbreaking having to say no when we want so badly to say yes. We often wonder what happens to the animals we must turn away. Where are they now? Did they find a safe place to stay? We are reaching out to the community asking for more fosters. We need your help. We need fosters for cats, kittens, nursing moms, pregnant moms, big dog fosters, and puppy fosters. We provide anything and everything you will need. Food, bowls, crates, litter boxes, litter, toys, medical care, etc. All you provide is the home and love. If you have reached out about fostering in the past and you did not hear anything back, it was not intentional and please reach back out. Hello friends,

In anticipation of the upcoming weather and in an abundance of caution, we will be closed Friday and Saturday.

In addition to the weather, a couple of our kitties have shared a virus (just like humans, they pass colds around in the winter) and we will be closed today, Thursday, to do some extra cleaning and give the cats some extra rest.

Everyone with an advanced booking will receive an email with an option for a refund or to reschedule, including our Friday night and Saturday morning yoga and sound bath events.

‼️ We get asked daily if we can take in cats/kittens that need rehoming. Our rescue partner Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue- Rutherford County, NC is here to help!

And who knows, after being vetted and cared for at the rescue, those kitties might end up at the cafe for adoption and socialization! Reach out to Heart of the Foothills rescue if you need help!

If you are currently on our waiting list and still need help, please reach out to let us know you still need assistance. We are having trouble connecting with several people on our waiting list.

If you surrender kittens to us and you want to keep the momma cat, we will arrange for her to be spayed at no cost to you.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accept any dogs right now.
