We are looking for help purchasing our 6-year-old LaMancha goat, Scotch, a partial prosthetic.

Scotch arrived in October of 2018 with her sister Brandi. They were surrendered to the sanctuary after Scotch suffered an accident involving some fencing. Her foot was stuck in the fence and was badly damanged, eventually becoming infected, and causing her hoof to fall off.

When she arrived, she needed serious wound care on the remaining part of her leg to save it from infection. We were lucky enough to stop the infection and Scotch has done really well over the last few years with her "stump" for lack of better terms.

As she gets older, Scotch has noticeably slowed down on three legs. We always knew there was a possibility that as she slowed down, she might need additional assistance moving around.

Any donation toward Scotch’s prosthetic would be an AMAZING help to allow her to live out the rest of her life comfortably and mobile!

Snow is coming! Buddylove’s Pet Sitting would like to remind everyone to make sure your fur baby isn’t out too long in the cold. Like people, they are susceptible to frostbite and hypothermia. Also, did you know, the ice melt you put down to keep safe from slipping can be dangerous to our furry friends?! Many brands can burn paws and be poisonous if ingested. Please keep that in mind when you bring your babies out 🐶🐾❤️
