UPDATE ON OSCAR:
Every day is a work in progress!! He is slowly coming out of his shell.. He's a love!! And yesterday we hit a huge milestone!! With a pocket full of treats, he walked around the block twice!! Hooray for Oscar!!

Introducing Oscar !! He’s a sweet cuddle bug but is a very timid scardy dog that needs a very special furever home.. Please do not inquire unless you have a fenced yard , a companion dog , Westie and Rescue experience!! He’s 4.5 years old and with a lot of time and patience he’ll be a great dog!! We are not sure about children ..This is the true meaning of rescue.. Could your home be his furever home?? He’s loved his people and is a quick learner providing you have a pocket full of treats!!

Public service announcement!!

We just wanted to let everyone know that we have over 3000 applications on file.. And well over 500 that meet our qualifications.. We are always all about the dogs.. If we haven't called you yet it's because you are not a match for the dogs we are currently working on.. Most of our dogs require a companion dog and a fenced in yard.. Depending on the dog, we sometimes make exceptions. Thank you for your patience and understanding!!

I adopted a westie in April of 2022. He had, I think, 3 littermates. My little one has just started with a skin condition. As I start the journey to figure out the cause, I thought I would ask if his littermates are also having problems. If so, maybe you have already figured out the cause and solution.

Penny had quite a surprise this morning when one of the dogs she has went into labor. Unfortunately, it was a problem and she had to rush to the emergency vet. After an emergency "C" section we have three new puppies, two girls and a boy. What an unexpected blessing. It will be a few months before they're ready for adoption, but right now all is good. Here they are --- 2 hours old !!
