Another craft I worked on this week at home: resin dominoes! 🌌 Just a little 6-6 set for my own first projects collection. I am looking into getting the molds for larger sets like 9-9 and 12-12s...

I’ll attempt this design again soon. With bolder gold, let the dimpled layer dry longer, and only use the glitter on the back layer so it is further away from the dimples. This project helped me understand the process so I can try some other resin projects I’ve been thinking about. So excited 😆

This loving boy’s #pawrent injured her ankle and can’t take him for his beautiful morning #walk along the American River. I stayed with him for over a week last year and he was so excited to see me each morning of these weekend walks. BUT he loves his pawrents more haha. Before y’all say anything about him being #offleash… they live on a tiny gated street, where everyone is retired, I check for activity like cars and gardeners, and he may look young and spirited but he’s actually such a well behaved 14 year old loyal Labrador #blacklab #doglove #dogwalk

A few filed down dominoes 😇 Check out my last post for more details. I poured this resin into molds last weekend. I didn’t take any videos of this first process (next time). I mixed, poured, heated, waited, painted the dimples, waited some more, and filed the backs! I’m looking into 12-12 molds… the whole process takes about 3-4 days. Definitely making a full playing set soon! Tonight I worked on another project, but can’t share the videos just yet. This is magic to and fro. Taking it slow on this larger property with dogs, chickens, and wild critters. I spent the whole first day with the pawrents to get the lay of the land. Along with caring for the dogs, plants, and house, I also get to hang out with chickens and keep an eye on the property for wildlife disturbances and potentially wildfires. I have been looking forward to this booking as a way to see if taking care of greater acreage is a lifestyle I actually want for myself. So far so good, only negative is the slow dirt drive to the main road. #petsitter #chickens #wildlife

I recently went on lots of walks with Raisin and Eddie between rain showers and relaxing on the couch.
