Marlie is available for adoption!
Marlie is a sweet and spunky 4-year-old Maltese-Yorkie mix (Morkie) who is full of love and energy! She’s the kind of dog who brings joy to every moment. Marlie adores her walks, playtime, and especially her toys—her absolute favorite being "Foxy Brown," a squeaky toy she’ll fetch on command.
One of Marlie’s most adorable traits is her love for getting dressed up! She has her own little wardrobe of outfits to choose from, and she’ll stand very still to make sure her outfit looks just right. Seeing her strut her stuff in her stylish attire will melt your heart! Marlie also loves going for car rides and thrives on adventure!
She’s a curious little companion who enjoys following you around the house, almost as if she’s trying to learn everything you do. If you really want to see her light up with joy, just ask, “Do you want to go for a walk?” But be sure you mean it because once you say it, she’ll hold you to it and expect you to follow through with her favorite activity!
Marlie is familiar with a crate and will willingly spend time in it. With consistent training, she could easily become fully crate trained if that’s what her new family prefers.
She’s good with kids over 10 (we haven’t had the chance to see her with younger ones) and currently lives harmoniously with another dog. They love to zoom around the house and yard together! Speaking of zoomies, get ready for a joyous welcome when you come home because Marlie loves to show her excitement with happy zoomies around the room.
Rehoming Marlie is a heart-wrenching decision for us. Due to my mobility challenges, my daughter assists in my care, and while Marlie adores her most of the time, she becomes protective of me during moments when I’m vulnerable. This has led to some challenges and my daughter being bit. For everyone’s safety and well-being, we’ve decided to find Marlie a forever home where she can flourish with a family who can give her the love and attention she deserves.

Noogie is available for adoption!
Noogie is a tan chihuahua yorkie mix. She is around 14 years old and weighs 7lbs. She really needs very little. She'd much rather curl up on the couch and watch TV with you rather than go for a walk. She is trained to use a dog door but her sight is starting to go, so she would need a little help getting used to a new environment. She is fine with other dogs. She has not been around cats before but she is so relaxed that it should be no problem. Due to her age she should not be in a home with small children.
Noogie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and housebroken, but she will need a dental on adoption.

W***y is available for adoption!
W***y is a 7 or 8 year old male Westie mix. He's got all the athleticism of a terrier with the calm of middle age. W***y is a real easy guy - he'd do well with almost anyone. He is good with kids, but can be a little skittish so it would be best to avoid younger children. He's a total gentleman on a leash and is trained to use a dog door. W***y loves to snuggle on the couch and would be a great companion for someone.
W***y is up to date on his vaccinations, housebroken and neutered, but he will need a dental on adoption.

Lil Buckaroo is available for adoption!
Lil Buckaroo, or Bucky, is a 1 to 2 year old chihuahua mix of around 11 pounds and is looking to be the new member of your family! He is a sweet boy who loves human touch and will roll over on his back to get all the pets you can give him. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, and takes a few minutes to warm up, but once you have gained his trust, he will be your new best friend. Bucky is great with kids and cats, and even loves baths! He enjoys running around outside and playing with toys.

Anderson is available for adoption!
He has soulful eyes! It’s just something special in his eyes. He will melt your heart. Anderson is a total sweetheart and loves to hang around you and do whatever you’re doing. He’s a major cuddle bug, enjoys sunbathing, patrolling the backyard, loves sitting right next to me while I’m reading or watching TV. He walks up to anybody he meets, man, woman, dog doesn’t seem to matter to him. He's so easy-going. I don’t think he would have any problems with the cat. I wouldn’t advise younger children, though, because he is older and more fragile. He is very food motivated. He seems to have good eyesight too.
This little guy weighs about 12 pounds and he’s about 12 years old, is probably a deer Chihuahua/Min Pin mix, he will be neutered soon, he’s vaccinated, microchip, crate trained, housebroken, p*epad trained, and will have his dental provided before after his adoption.
Anderson does have some heart problems, is bow legged, some hearing loss and possible patella luxation, but none of that stops him from doing what he wants to do.

Tina is still looking for her forever home! Could you be the one to bring this sweet girl into your family?

Tina is a sweet, gentle, and playful dog around 2 years old and weighing 11 pounds. She is a very shy, unique looking Dachshund, Pug, and Chihuahua mix who is in need of a forever home where she can feel safe and loved once again. Tina has had it rough, as it looks like she has suffered some abuse and was left outside Front Street Shelter parking lot when they were closed. She spent over a month in the shelter before being taken into Little Paws, but because of her experience she has been very wary of people. With patience and kindness however, she has begun to trust again and it has been wonderful to see her grow in confidence. Tina is a loyal and loving dog who just needs someone to give her a chance. She is active and would be a great companion for someone who can give her the attention and care she needs, helping her to trust again and providing her with a safe environment to thrive. She would benefit from a patient owner who can help build up her confidence and she will be the most loving, sweet and loyal dog in return. Despite her shyness, Tina has a wonderful playful side and loves to steal socks and shoes, (though she doesn't eat them)! She also loves toys and she hasn't met a toy she doesn't love!
She has the adorable, cute floppy ears, along with the long body and the tail of a dachshund with a curl in it, the head of a Chihuahua and the crunched face and wrinkles of a pug! Tina loves using the doggy door and is great with steps or ramps. She would benefit from dog training and obstacle course training as this would really help to boost her self-esteem. We can see her being great at agility in the future!

She is housebroken, p*e pad trained, crate trained, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed. She is good with other dogs but we are not sure about cats. Her adoption fee is $700. Here's another great update on Arrow, now Apollo, about how he's settled into his new home since getting adopted!

Apollo was sadly found tied to an arrow fence, left along and hungry. He was brought into Little Paws Doggie Rescue and immediately needed a haircut. His fur was so long and matted that it was hard for him to see and he was terribly dirty. After he got cleaned up and recuperated, he was adopted into a wonderful new family. It was love at first sight and his new people shower him with love and attention, being the only dog in the house! His new Mom is a church minister, so Apollo goes to church and see all the people at the congregation which he loves. He even gets to watch the wild deer and turkeys from outside the window of the house, which keeps him busy when he's not socializing! He's adjusted brilliantly to his new home and we're so pleased that he's settled in and landed on his feet so well. Well done Apollo and family!

Remember sweet little Angelica? Here's a wonderful update from her family since getting adopted!

"It has been so fun getting to watch Angelica’s personality shine. She may be 12 years old but she acts like a puppy! Since we got her she has gotten to go on many road trips to the ocean and the mountains. Camping, paddle boarding, running on the beach and taking walks where she stops to smell every little thing. Whenever she is unsure of a new activity her sis Bella (8 yr old pit mix) is there to show her the ropes, and always looking out for her. When we first brought her home we gave Angelica her own bed, but she insisted on sharing Bella’s bed with her 😍 and they have slept together every night since.
Everyone remarks on how friendly she is, hopping on laps for cuddles and scratching at your leg for attention. She loves meeting new dog friends as well, she recently met our friends 17 year old def and blind dog Elvis (see pic) and she could not get enough of him 💕.
I always look forward to coming home where I know she will be at the door to greet me with a “gift”, typically a sock if she can find one but she will settle for a toy ☺️.
Angelica has been a great addition to our family and brought us so much joy, we can’t imagine it without her. I am so happy my husband and I decided to adopt a senior dog, we found the perfect match."

Stories like these are why we do what we do - to get as many dogs as we can into loving homes. It's great to see how well Angelica has adapted and how loved she is with her new family. We're so happy for you, Angelica!
