🎉 Happy First Birthday to London’s New Years babies!!! Wow these little ones grew FAST! We love you all and know you are being so well taken care of with your forever families. (Don’t tell your humans, but they just did the first puppy year! Great job! You are about to stop making as many mistakes and getting into mischief! Woohoo!)
Penny Girl from our New Years babies made it out to the Christmas Parade this year and made a friend! So many pretty goldens out in town today. We loved the float, and all the beautiful, well-trained Golden Retrievers representing. Great job guys!
This is me, learning the ropes at my Dad’s Veterinary hospital. It was about 4-5 years before our family Golden, Sir Sampson the Wander Dog, was brought home to us. We were always taking care of other family’s babies, we couldn’t believe we got to keep this one!
When you love your babies so much, you each need your own. 💛💜Lady London the Loyal and Sweet Georgia Peach. What would we do without you? (We swore we wouldn’t let our dogs on the couch. We were perfect pet owners, and then we had Goldens!)

Just some sweet updates from our New Years babies, they are getting so big and are having the best adventures! The last one is Riggins from London’s Easter litter. He’s the one in the middle. So handsome!

We LOVE when our babies can go to home with older Golden siblings. It’s just the cutest thing to watch the little minis learn and bond! This litter we had 4 families with CURRENT golden retrievers adopt a new baby! This is Rae and her new sister Indee. How sweet are they?

I think they want to go too! I seriously didn’t know how much we would love having two. I never saw us as a two-dog family. London is our “shot-gun” dog. Always with us. And I didn’t know what adding would be like. For us it’s like the joy we discovered when we finally had a sibling for our first child. Watching them together is so so fun! We will never puppy-train again without an older dog if we can help it. This is the best!
Here are a few more Pupdates from our New Years litter I haven’t shared yet! The first is ♥️Honey Bear♥️ and his adorable little girl being investigated by the family Alpacas. Are you kidding me? The real shot is just gorgeous. I had to share. Next up is 💜Eve💜who may be the most adored baby so far. She has more toys than our kids, and sleeps with her mama every night! Love that she is so adored. Finally 💙Murphy💙 who received his New Year’s bandana by mail due to technical difficulties! We miss all these babies and sure are glad we get one of our own this time! It’s a foggy morning at Large Oak Goldens! The kitties are of great curiosity for a little Georgia Peach. Also, sleeping in with Mom is pretty darn great!
Puppy training is exhausting! For the humans and the babies…but oh so worth it! The joy of a well trained pup is so rewarding! A life enrichment that we didn’t even know we needed many years ago.

All I can say is YOU PEOPLE ARE AMAZING! Our Large Oak Goldens community and friends rallied with us to get the word out about this sweet boy. 6 hours and several conversations later, he has a PERFECT match! Baby New Year will be meeting his 3-year-old Golden sister tomorrow morning! Yay! We humbly thank you all for helping! You blew us away with your kindness and support for what we love.
No one is exactly sad to be getting some extra Baby New Year snuggles!
