Dr. Cabrera and Andi were purr-fectly in sync during her wellness visit. They rocked matching mustaches and made lots of memories. From the moment she arrived, Andi had us all smiling.

Safe to say she felt right at home with her new twin and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Harper Ann (our resident pug queen), Dottie (the spotted lil' sis), and Lola (the bold big sis) stopped by for their wellness visits and turned the clinic into their own personal catwalk.

While their personalities stole the show, their visit was all about prevention. Pugs and Boston Terriers are brachycephalic breeds, which means regular checkups help us monitor breathing, joint health, weight, and those irresistibly squishy faces.

SimSim made their big debut this week and totally stole the show at their first vet visit! From the cutest blue-gray eyes to the most adorable snack face, SimSim came in for their first round of vaccines and a whole lot of love.

Elly Mae was feelin’ cheesy during her visit and we mean that literally! This sweet pup got to enjoy a cheese stick during her appointment, and judging by her tail wag, we’d say it was a hit.

At Willow Rock, we use tasty distractions like cheese sticks to help make exams and procedures more comfortable and stress-free. It’s just one of the ways we create a positive experience for our patients because a happy pup makes for a smoother visit for everyone.

With temperatures on the rise, it’s important to help your pets stay safe and cool just like Moose here!

Heatstroke in dogs and cats can happen fast. Watch for:
• Excessive panting or drooling
• Weakness or unsteadiness
• Vomiting or diarrhea
• A bright red tongue and pale gums
• Collapse or unresponsiveness

If you see these signs, move your pet to a cool area and call your vet right away.

☀️ Never leave pets in cars (even for a few minutes)
💧 Offer plenty of water throughout the day
🐾 Protect paws from hot pavement (If it’s too hot for your bare hand or foot, it’s too hot for their paws!)
🧴 Use dog-safe sunscreen on exposed skin like the nose, lips, and ears
🌳 Take breaks in the shade and limit exercise during peak heat
🐶 Short-nosed breeds, puppies and kittens, and senior pets need extra care in the heat

When in doubt, keep outdoor adventures early in the morning or after the sun sets.

We absolutely fell in love with Daisy during her first visit to Willow Rock! She came in for a wellness exam and brought the biggest smile and even bigger wiggles. I mean... just look at that face. She is just full of pure love.

She was so excited to meet everyone, she could hardly sit still. This is the environment we create... a comfortable and stress free experience where your furry companions just can't wait to see us! Looking forward to seeing this sweet girl again soon!
