Another great haul in lesson in the books. Thank you Kailey and Nicole with their horse Ricky for coming out this week, looking forward to the next one!
Some fear transforming into curiosity!! Go Buck go! 🥰
Friends helping friends be brave ❤️😂
Buck came here for confidence building 101
He is as sweet as they come but pretty unsure of our world, and kind of shut down from surviving.
It’s incredibly rewarding and fun to watch him beginning to open up and become curious and explore things with me.
I love this one! ❤️
Poppy has a hard time relaxing, slowing down, standing tied or to be saddled.
Today we were finally able to entertain the idea of walking on the line… it’s not perfect, but it’s improvement ❤️
Before today…. All she knew how to do was run/pace, and dive bomb you with her shoulder to get to the other side of the ‘circle’ ☠️
I’m really proud of this girl and I’m excited to see what two more weeks gets us ❤️
Teaching both owner and horse to operate on a softer, quieter feel.
I’m so proud of Vivian and Poppy today… In just an hour we were able to shift the energy in the arena from stressy and pushy… to quieter and soft.
Through understanding and being effective down to the feet we can accomplish anything.
Shoot me a message!!!
We do both mobile and haul in lessons… so let’s get you and your equine partner …. Partnering !!!
What a rewarding session!

Getting those pole crossing sessions in!
Troyano has made a ton of progress in starting to relax and carry himself with less anxiety in lots of new situations and over different obstacles. It’s fun to see him feel comfortable enough to stretch down and check out things as he travels where as before he would be more likely to get tense and bolt away.
By no means are we done with this mental work… but it is truly rewarding to see him start to use his thinking brain over his reactive flighty brain.
I am excited to see where we are in a couple more weeks!
Good job Troyano ❤️

Troyano is conquering the trail relaxed and with confidence!
We are so fortunate to have this beautiful trail and obstacles to introduce our horses to just out side our pasture gate!
Come see us in Auburn CA this summer
These two truly kicked this whole ‘horse training’ thing into gear for me this year, and it’s been an incredible journey so far.
Pear- Quinn headed home this week to turn out into pasture and soak on all the things she learned this summer. I am so grateful for the lessons she (& Leah Clarke) taught me on this part of our journey 🙏❤️ I hope to see her again next spring after she does some mental and physical maturing… she is gonna bloom this year 😍
Blitz is hanging around till the end of the month… and he has turned into a pretty fancy little guy!! Stay tuned for some more updates on our Roanie Ponie! 💕 …. His owners were here this week and MAN ARE THEY A KILLER PAIR! 😍
Oh sweet Troyano 💕
This handsome boy came to us last week with a track record of anxiety, ‘dancing’ and a habit of ‘running off’ from pressure or scary things.
He couldn’t really stand still for nothing, and as you can see is pretty dang mouthy and pushy. He’d walked right over you if you let him, but was also reactive and fearful of the lead rope swinging.
We have made a ton of progress, it’s not perfect, nor will I expect it to be… but in less than a week…. it’s a whole heck of a lot better.
I’m so proud of this horse and how far he has come in starting to relax and regain some confidence and curiosity!
It’s just icing on top that he has a wonderful, committed and involved owner! I have no doubt these two will find so much success in the near future!!
You’ll catch us on the trails soon!!
Overwhelmed with gratitude today.
Grateful for a barn full of horses, kind and encouraging clients, and an able body to do what my heart calls me to do.
This is just the beginning, I’m in awe at the support and opportunity so far 🙏
