Yesterday I got the opportunity to have some Friesian fun and photograph the FHANA Keuring here in Northern California. A wonderful, although rather cold day, meeting new people with their stunningly beautiful horses. Enjoy some highlights of the day. As I get the information, I'll add it to each photo. Well that's a wrap! My last show of 2024 has ended with an amazing weekend at the CNDC Fall Dressage Derby. I can't say enough good things about this show series. Laurie Daniel always organizes an easy schedule and Christiane makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable at her beautiful facility. And what a wonderful group of exhibitors! So many talented riders and horses! Thank you for making my weekends at CNDC so much fun. Looking forward to 2025!

Ok, I'm getting all caught up. It's been a busy & fun couple of weeks! Between the Breed Inspections, I had the special honor of stepping in to photograph NA Stallion Sport Test. Once again the KWPN Keuring at DG Bar Ranch was spectacular! This is truly a highlight of my year as I get to photograph all these stunningly beautiful & talented horses and hang out with the best people. I feel blessed to be able to do this and share with everyone the highlights from each horse. This year a Breeding Presentation was added making this keuring very special for the spectators. To not completely overwhelm all of you, I will make 3 large posts to cover this keuring. Starting with the Ridden portion, then the Young Horses and finish with the Presentation. I will have information in each photo for all of you pedigree buffs.

I'm a little late on this one, on Friday Eurequine, LLC hosted the ISR/Oldenburg NA for an inspection at Woodland Stallion Station.
Even though it was small in size the horses presented were all tops! Enjoy the highlights!

Directly after the first Keuring day at DG Bar Ranch, there will be an interesting presentation by host W***y Arts and his team, together with KWPN judges Floor Dröge and Arie Hamoen.

Floor, W***y and Arie will talk about breeding and developing the young performance horse. W***y will first present three generations of his successful breeding program and discuss dressage conformation together with the judges. This will be followed by a presentation of several young horses under saddle. W***y and the judges will explain the development and training of young dressage horses for the top sport.

Dinner and beverages will be provided, sponsored by the KWPN-NA. Spectators are welcome, it’s a free, fun and educational event! Come all! Please let us or DG Bar Ranch know if you plan to come.

Christiane Noelting Dressage Center hosted a wonderful AHS Inspection. What a super group of foals!!! Always wonderful to have AHS judge Sandy Hunt on site. She shares with the owners and spectators evaluations of each horse that is educational and supportive. 5 high quality foals were presented and 1 super futurity 2 yo. At the end of the inspection we were treated to an impromptu showing of Velantis N, Christiane Noelting's superstar Hanoverian stallion. A fun time was had by all. Enjoy the highlights! Each photo will contain the breeding of that horse. ❤

My favorite time of year begins today, foal inspections! This year I get to start and end with an AHS Inspection. Looking forward to seeing all the Hanoverian foals at the AHS Inspection hosted by CNDC this morning!
