You may have seen these supplements near our sprouting section. Soar is formulated specifically for birds with stressful conditions such as illness or breeding. Universal is for all birds at all stages. Both have a variety of minerals, herbs, and probiotic strains to help support healthy body functions. These two products are not listed on our website at this time, but if you’d like us to ship you some drop us a message! Soar is $19.99 for 2 oz, and the Universal is $18.99 for 2 oz. While 2 oz doesn't sound like a large amount, only a very small amount should be given each time, and it will last quite a long time! These are great when sprinkled into fresh/soft foods like chop or sprouts that will absorb the powder and be fully ingested. Did you know birds benefit from probiotics just like people do? I’ve recently gotten into making fermented foods for myself at home, and according to Dr. Jason Crean, fermented foods are also good for your birds! Most fermented foods are created by using salt and an anaerobic environment to drive lacto bacillus fermentation, but apparently it can also be done by using celery juice! Large amounts of salt in your bird's diet are by no means appropriate, but small amounts once in a while in the form of lacto-fermented foods can be very beneficial! Happy Fathers Day! For all the Bird Dads🦜❤

This is our Dad. He passed away in 2018🕊

This photo was taken by our hometown newspaper The Merced Sunstar circa 1980's. They were writing an article about our local community college science department upcoming archeological digs near Lake Don Pedro.

Dad worked in the science department his entire career and was a such a free spirit. He was a hippie when it was cool during the late 60's and 70's, and even when it wasn't in the 80's🤣
But he really didn't care what people thought! He gave my brother and I the love of nature, music, and people❤

He was so proud to see me growing China Prairie before he passed away and was my biggest supporter!
Our loved ones go🌈 but the love never does...it stays💕

We remember you Dad on this day and always....
