Destiny's Halloween Celebration Is Incredible

Bungie has done it again! Many, many, many masks to aquire and candy to be had! Dress up as Eris, The Speaker, Xur, Crota, Oryx, and many many more! Also, the Michael Jackson Thriller Dance is available to purchase from Eververse Trading kiosk.

Just when people were starting to get burned out on Destiny, a video game about the endless hunt for a decent ghost shell, along comes a set of Halloween festivities that made me giggle out loud in the office.

RUMOR: Credible rumor have popped up on NeoGaf stating that Halo 2 Anniversary will be released on November 11th 2014 for the Xbone. Included with H2A would be a beta key for Halo 5 which according to the rumor has been pushed back to 2015.

DID INFO ON CODGHOSTS SECOND DLC PACK JUST LEAK? It seems as if the names for the next set of DLC maps has already been leaked if you believe the Xbox One screenshot above. The screenshot clearly shows the maps “Battery, Red River, Rumble and Dome.” It’s unclear if these are completed yet and they don’t seem to be in a playable stage. It is, however, very interesting to already know the names of the next DLC map packs if this indeed turns out to be true.

“Stoic: King is hindering Banner Saga sequel The ongoing trademark dispute over the use of the word ‘saga’ by developers King and Stoic could hinder the development and naming of Stoic’s sequel to The Banner Saga, the studio announced today.

Speaking to Polygon, Stoic’s Alex Thomas said the studio has plans to make a sequel to The Banner Saga, and that it filed for a trademark for the game’s title before King filed its own trademark for the word ‘saga’. “They’ve blocked our trademark and extended the deadline for the opposition twice so that we are unable to have the rights to the name,” Thomas said. “Essentially, we are not allowed to own the name ‘The Banner Saga’ for our game about a viking epic, because King.com says they have claimed rights to the noun ‘saga,’ which means ‘a viking epic,’ forever more in the realm of games.”

I know this isn’t first person shooter related but I feel that this is info that should be passed along to the gaming masses. It’s almost as pathetic as Bethesda’s attempt the block Notch’s use of the word “scrolls”. Copyright law is bulls**t. Trademarking singular words is bulls**t. That is all. - Josh

2K and Bethesda are teaming up to release two bundles. The first bundle will include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with BioShock Infinite, while the second will offer Borderlands 2 alongside Dishonored. The bundles will cost $29.99 and will be available from February 11.
