🎄 Marla’s Christmas Wish — In My Own Words 🎄
Hi… I’m Marla.
I’ve lived at the shelter since March 2021. That’s a lot of seasons… a lot of dogs coming and going… and me still waiting.
Today they sat me in front of a Christmas sign, and I couldn’t help but smile. I like Christmas. It makes everything feel possible — even for a dog like me who’s been overlooked so many times.
I dream of a home where someone notices the soft wag of my tail, the way I lean in when I feel safe, the little smile I save for people I trust. I don’t need much… just a quiet place, gentle hands, and someone who won’t give up on me.
If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart — once she knows she’s finally home — I’m waiting.
Maybe this Christmas, my wish will finally come true.
