As hunting season approaches, I thought this was a good time for a season opening post!!

Good luck this weekend to the youth and liberty hunters, and next weekend to the youth waterfowl hunters.

As an update this year I will only be accepting Ducks, Deer European mounts, turkey tails and Deer antler mounts. I have decided to stop taking shoulder mounts and concentrate on birds, and Europen mounts this fall.

Dean's Taxidermy had recently been trained by the Michigan DNR and is now a designated drop off point to have deer tested for CWD.
If you want your deer tested and it was taken in the yellow counties shown give me a call.

Hello to all my customers and friends!
Good luck in all the upcoming seasons!

Just a couple of housekeeping notes here:

After a few years of doing this I've learned that there's only so many hours in the day and only so much I can do that being said I had to severely restrict the amount of deer heads that I take in however I have been able to expand the number european mounts that I do. If you would like a skull cleaned and bleached-out whether it be a deer bear coyote or whatever please get a hold of me.

As most of you know I prefer to do birds, and I'm still taking birds to mount and have not had to restrict those at all. If you have a bird here I'm working on it and we'll be getting caught up fairly soon. In the meantime good luck this fall and hope to hear some of the good stories!

Always try and get the best bird to have mounted..... Mature (no pin feathers) and with very little shot damage, this will get you the best looking bird and they are a pleasure to work on!
