Scott Smith's All Animal Expo is not only THE place to buy your next dog, cat, lizard, snake, turtle or frog, it's also a great place to meet and chat with other animal enthusiasts. We're open 2x each month--see events section for dates--from 10 am til 3 pm--at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. In addition to reptiles at every show, we feature small mammals such as sugar gliders, hedgehogs, ferr

ets, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs. We also have birds, along with puppies and kittens for the nite conventionally-minded pet parent. Arachnids and insects of all kinds, too! The expo also stocks feeders--mice and rats (both live and frozen), crickets, roaches, mealworms, etc. AND we've got your tanks, cages, substrate, lights, toys, etc. We started out as Lee Watson's Reptile Show and Sale, back in Streamwood in the early 1990's, and have grown tremendously in the ensuing years. Although Lee passed on in 2009, Scott Smith has maintained the family-friendly tradition started over 20 years ago.

This month, instead of choosing a single vendor, I wanted to do something a little different.

Iโ€™m proud to honor the ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ who work behind the scenes at ๐’๐œ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ ๐’๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐กโ€™๐ฌ ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐€๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐ฑ๐ฉ๐จ. These are the people who keep the show running smoothly โ€” from setup to teardown, from early mornings to long days โ€” and I truly couldnโ€™t do it without them.

Over the past year, weโ€™ve poured our hearts into building a great experience in Lakemoor. While it hasnโ€™t developed into the show we dreamed it could be, weโ€™ve decided itโ€™s time to refocus and bring all of our passion back to Kane County.

To everyone who supported the Lakemoor shows โ€” the dedicated vendors, the smiling visitors, and our amazing community โ€” thank you for being part of this journey.

Double-header weekend continues tomorrow in Lakemoor

We had an incredible day today at the Scott Smithโ€™s All Animal Expo at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles!

A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors and visitors who came out and helped make the day a success.

The excitement doesnโ€™t stop there โ€” our double-header weekend continues tomorrow, Sunday, November 9th, at the Countryside Banquets & Conference Center in Lakemoor from 10 AM to 3 PM!

Tomorrowโ€™s show will feature puppies, kittens, reptiles, amphibians, small exotic mammals, invertebrates, live and frozen feeders, supplies, and more!
