The Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo returns to St. Charles on Sunday, September 28th, and this is an event you do not want to miss. From reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates to birds, small mammals, puppies, and kittens, the show floor will be alive with activity, learning, and discovery.

Our vendors bring the best selection of animals, feeders, tanks, supplies, and accessories, making this a one-stop destination for anyone interested in animals. Families, collectors, educators, and the simply curious will all find something to enjoy.

Doors open at 10 AM and run until 3 PM. Join us at the Kane County Fairgrounds for a day unlike any other.

The countdown is on!

On Sunday, September 28th, the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo returns to the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles for another exciting day of animals, education, and community.

Expect more than 18,000 square feet filled wall-to-wall with reptiles, amphibians, birds, puppies, kittens, small exotic mammals, live and frozen feeders, tanks, supplies, and so much more. Our vendors come from across the region, bringing the best selection of healthy animals and high-quality products.

This is a family-friendly event with free parking, concessions available on site, and an ATM for your convenience. Doors open at 10 AM sharp, and the event runs until 3 PM. Admission is $8 for adults and only $3 for kids ages 6–10, with children under 6 admitted free of charge.

Special Guest Highlight: Lori Barczyk

This past Saturday, September 13th, we had the honor of welcoming Lori Barczyk from LegaSea Aquarium & The Reptarium to the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo in St. Charles.

Lori’s generosity made the day even more memorable. She arrived with two incredible gift baskets with Brian Barczyk memorabilia, LegaSea merchandise and free admission passes to LegaSea Aquarium. To make things extra special, we held a free raffle during the show, and two lucky winners went home with these amazing prizes.

Beyond the raffle, Lori spent the majority of her day walking the show floor, visiting with vendors, filming their animals and displays, and capturing the energy of our community. Her genuine interest in the vendors and the animals shined through, and it was a reminder of the strong bond she shares with this hobby and its people.

As a token of appreciation, Lori was awarded the Heavyweight Belt for the day — a symbol of the passion and commitment she continues to bring to the animal community.

Thank you, Lori, for spending the day with us. Your presence, generosity, and enthusiasm made the September 13th expo a highlight of the year.

September Vendor Champion: Hate It But Luv It Reptiles

History has been made! For the first time ever, one vendor has earned the Vendor Champion Belt twice—and that honor goes to Hate It But Luv It Reptiles.

They’ve been part of the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo family for 15 years, faithfully vending shows at both of our locations. Their journey began when they caught a TV commercial for the expo back in the DuPage days, and curiosity led them here. What started as a visit turned into a lifelong passion for animals, the community, and the one-of-a-kind experiences each show brings.

Their specialty? Bearded Dragons. Admired for their calm nature, unique personalities, and ability to become a true companion for all ages, these reptiles have been the heart of their mission. Hate It But Luv It Reptiles is dedicated to producing healthy, high-quality animals and helping families create a lifelong bond between pet and owner.

From classrooms to living rooms, from children to grandparents, and even to the spotlight of magic shows, their animals have brought joy and connection wherever they go. Beyond just reptiles, they provide complete setups, accessories, and guidance for every enthusiast—whether you’re brand new or a seasoned hobbyist.

We’re proud to recognize Hate It But Luv It Reptiles as our September Vendor Champion, and we celebrate their unwavering passion and commitment to the community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 of the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo!

On 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬, we were honored to welcome 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐳𝐲𝐤 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐀𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦 as our special guest, and the crowd energy was incredible from start to finish.

On 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐫, 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 brought the stage to life with their “Education through Interaction” reptile presentation, giving families an unforgettable experience.

We also want to take a moment to thank all of our vendors—not just for bringing such a great selection of animals, feeders, and supplies, but also for sticking it out with us on Sunday. While it wasn’t the busiest day through the door, your support, energy, and commitment are what keep this community thriving, and we truly appreciate you.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to today’s Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo in St. Charles—it was an amazing day!
Special thanks to Lori Barczyk from the LegaSea Aquarium for joining us and making the day even more special.

But we’re not done yet—Day Two of our Double Header Weekend is tomorrow, Sunday, September 14th at the Countryside Banquets & Conference Center in Lakemoor from 10 AM – 3 PM.

Don’t miss Cold Blooded Parties, who will be vending and presenting live on stage from 12 PM – 1 PM. Their “Education through Interaction” show is one you won’t want to miss!
