Scott Smith's All Animal Expo is not only THE place to buy your next dog, cat, lizard, snake, turtle or frog, it's also a great place to meet and chat with other animal enthusiasts. We're open 2x each month--see events section for dates--from 10 am til 3 pm--at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. In addition to reptiles at every show, we feature small mammals such as sugar gliders, hedgehogs, ferr

ets, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs. We also have birds, along with puppies and kittens for the nite conventionally-minded pet parent. Arachnids and insects of all kinds, too! The expo also stocks feeders--mice and rats (both live and frozen), crickets, roaches, mealworms, etc. AND we've got your tanks, cages, substrate, lights, toys, etc. We started out as Lee Watson's Reptile Show and Sale, back in Streamwood in the early 1990's, and have grown tremendously in the ensuing years. Although Lee passed on in 2009, Scott Smith has maintained the family-friendly tradition started over 20 years ago.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, good food, and great memories.

We just want to take a moment to say how truly thankful we are for all of our amazing vendors and visitors. You are what makes the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo so special and what has allowed us to become the longest running animal expo in Illinois.

We’d also like to congratulate our three winners from last Sunday’s Thanksgiving Raffle. Each of them received a $200 gift card that could be used at Jewel-Osco and several other stores. We hope it helped make your Thanksgiving celebration even better.

Our next show is Saturday, December 13th, and we have a lot of exciting things planned. This will be our last show before Christmas, and we’re making it extra special. We’ll be announcing more details in the coming days, so keep an eye on our page — you won’t want to miss it!

One of our favorite things about Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo is seeing how much it means to families, especially the next generation of animal lovers.

Before one of our recent shows, a mom named Beccy reached out to us with a simple message — her daughter absolutely loves the expo, loves reptiles, and has been counting the days until she can finally get her very first one.

That message stuck with us.

So we told her to come find us at the show… because we wanted to do something special.

When they stopped by, we were able to gift her some expo gift cards that can be used just like cash with any one of our vendors. Beccy was completely blown away — she told us she thought it might just be a small trinket or something, not something that special. Seeing her daughter’s face light up was a moment we won’t forget.

What made it even more meaningful was hearing that they had already spent a lot of time learning and talking with All Animal Educators, soaking up knowledge and getting hands-on with the animals. That’s exactly what this show is all about — creating a place where families can learn, connect, and fall in love with the animal world together.

It’s not just animals.
It’s not just vendors.
It’s little moments that turn into lifelong memories.
It’s that spark in a child’s eyes when they realize their dream is getting closer.

Thank you Beccy and family for trusting us with such a special moment in your daughter’s journey into the reptile world. We’re honored to be a small part of a very big memory.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝗲? 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗚𝗲𝘁?

Yesterday’s 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 was an incredible success, and we just want to say thank you.

We had an amazing turnout, an incredible crowd, and a fantastic group of vendors who helped make it such an amazing show.

Thanks to your generosity, we also had a 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲, with donations going to support families in need. Seeing our community come together like that means everything to us.

This Sunday at the 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼, we’re proud to support a very special cause.

All food donations collected at the show will benefit 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵, who just last Saturday alone provided 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟭𝟬 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 in need.
