It’s been an exhausting week 🥹💔

As many of you know, we took in a lot of small, malnourished and sick kittens from our big project last week. This week has been tough trying to keep them going and in the right direction. Tonight they gave me a massive scare and I thought we’d be loosing at least one more. I loaded them all up to get to the vet urgently before they closed. I left with 6 little ones; and VERY thankfully got to come home with all 6. They are nowhere out of the woods right now, but we got some shots tonight and a new regime for them in hopes I can continue their around the clock care and keep them going in the right direction. 💔

It’s been a really tough week. I’m hopeful I can keep them going through the weekend and start to see improvements enough that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for them! 💗 I love these little nuggets so much already I’ll work through the exhaustion any day to help them have a good fighting chance!

Come on little ones, keep fighting the good fight so I can keep helping you! 🥹💔💗

😻 Look at all these adorable faces 😻

We have had an overwhelming week with our big project. We have gotten a lot of new little cute faces to look at, take care of and love on this week!

But it hasn’t been all fun and cuteness 😻 this week has brought a lot of sadness, exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed too. These babies we got this week are sick, and taking a LOT of around the clock care and work. I couldn’t have done this week without all of our amazing volunteers- who spent countless hours caring for all the rescue babies and driving supplies to me on site to triage and care for kittens found. Thank you all for holding down the fort for me this week!

With all going on this week and so many new cute faces, we are in urgent need of some hard food and litter to help care for all these new cuties. Can you help us restock on our supplies right now? Anything is helpful right now! These babies needed us this week- and now we need you, to help us so we can help them!!

Rescue is so brutally hard. And in a matter of hours my heart was shattered one more time today. 💔

Nothing prepared me for loosing 3 beautiful souls today.

Our sweet little Mel girl has lost her fight tonight, and has peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge in my arms tonight knowing love like never before. 💔

Mel was part of our huge TNR project this past week. We got her just two days ago, and she had already stolen my heart. 💜 She had the loudest purr and sweetest personality. She had a large mass of some sort on her jaw, along with many other concerns. She had completely stopped eating and refusing to stand up and was failing to thrive.

I fought hard for you the last two days little girl. I hope you knew and felt that and felt the love you received while in rescue with us. I will miss you so much little one. Fly high with the others from your family and all my other lost little rescue babies 🌈 Love you girl

The hardest part of rescue, is making the hard decision of when to end their suffering.

Today, we lost two beautiful souls from our large TNR project. This one, I named Gramps. I had netted him after seeing how sick he looked and we couldn’t get him in a trap. I was soooo thankful my netting skills were on par this past week; so I could catch a lot of the sicker ones. This one hit me a little differently when I caught him. I was so happy we could help him feel better finally. Today was his day, to go peacefully and to no longer suffer. We lost both babies today, and as hard as it is, I am glad we all could work together to end the suffering.

If you’ve been wondering why we’ve been a little quiet on posts and messages this week—it’s because we’ve just wrapped up one of the busiest, most exhausting, yet most rewarding weeks in our rescue’s history 😻❤️‍🩹

One of our amazing independent trappers reached out for help with a massive TNR project of over 100 cats—and since it was only 10 minutes from us, we knew we couldn’t say no.

This project was HUGE. It required incredible teamwork, planning, and round-the-clock dedication. The trapper did a phenomenal job organizing everything, and with support from our rescue, Angel of Hope Animal Rescue, Purple Cat Vet, and SNAP't Cat Rescue, TNR Feline Good Rescue, and All Paws Vet Clinic for heping get in some of our emergency medical cases, to make it happen. ✅ Huge shout out to Jill Sherritt and Susan Brouse for all the hard work, and all the other amazing volunteers!
We started setting traps Sunday afternoon with a goal of 20–25 cats. Within 4 hours we already had 59 cats/kittens! From there, things didn’t slow down.

This morning, we caught what we believe to be one of the final cats on site (with the exception of one mama who gave birth during this project—we’re still searching for her babies). Here’s the final tally:
🐾 110 trapped between Sunday and this morning
🐾 35 trapped prior to Sunday
🐾 Plus mama & 3 friendlies still to be fixed
That brings us to a total of 149 cats impacted through this project 🙀

The past several days were filled with sleepless nights, little food or rest, and countless 24-hour shifts. Volunteers worked nonstop cleaning kennels, transporting, and getting cats to and from spay/neuter appointments. The teamwork and dedication it took to complete this in just one week was nothing short of amazing. 😻

And, of course, a little silver lining… we welcomed some adorable new faces into our rescue 💗 Many were found alone—some in hay lofts, some in hay bales, one tiny 1 lb warrior chasing sandhill cranes in a pasture, and another bravely hanging out with cows in a barn. They’re safe now, loved, and finally on their way to a brighter future.

❤️‍🩹Help Needed ❤️‍🩹

We have had a tough week with our littles! This week, 5 of our littles babies have been declining and not feeling well. Rio, is one of our littles not feeling great this week.

It’s been an exhausting and tough week. When babies get sick; it’s emotionally so hard, and it includes a lot of sleepless nights and a lot of mental and physical work.

When our babies are sick, our need for litter also grows exponentially!!! We are going through litter like never before. Can anyone help Rio refill his litter box so we can keep it clean while his tummy isn’t feeling good? He is asking for clumping litter only at this time!
