❤️‍🩹 Sweet Scout Update ❤️‍🩹

Remember sweet Scout (formerly Killian), who we had adopted out who came down with FIP recently? Well we got him started on treatment within a couple days of diagnosis, and he’s been taking it like a champ.

Look at his improvement already!! 😻😻 He had beautiful blue eyes before diagnosis, and lost that with his FIP professing. And they are coming back already!!! We aren’t even 2 full weeks into treatment yet and he’s doing phenomenal!! He is back to his playful spunky self again, running around like a maniac! (Video in comments!). He is already almost back to normal! Woohoo 🥳 these meds have been a miracle for him already! I am so thankful we caught this in time to treat him correctly and quickly!!

His medications aren’t cheap, and around $260 every 2 weeks, for 84 days. If you can help donate to his ongoing medical care, please donate below so we can continue to treat Scout for his FIP ❤️‍🩹

❤️‍🩹Wyoming DQ Trap Site Update! ❤️‍🩹

Well, in good practice, we left some food and our cameras up at the trap site we were working on, to make sure we didn’t leave anyone behind. And thank goodness we did! The mama of the kittens we trapped, didn’t look as pregnant in person as she had on camera. Come to find out, we had another identical mama that indeed does look pregnant on camera and in person; that I believe we were mixing up on camera!!!! We trapped for several more days this week, and last night at about 6 pm we trapped the final one!!!!!

So welcome to rescue Mama Caramel 😻🐱 I do suspect she is pregnant, but only time will tell! I was able to pet her through the trap last night so I think she will be another one that will turn friendly quickly! Huge shout out to Kris Luiken Scherer and family, for being able to jump into action so unexpectedly and fast last night when we trapped her, and thank you to Judy El for all her hard work trapping with me and being able to run over to traps fast for me!! So thankful for everyone involved helping us to get ALL of them out of the cold and so fast, and for helping us with this rescue! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

😻 Adoptable Beauties 😻

Meet Jasper and Ava, a pair of one-year-old color-point cats looking for our forever home.

Jasper is a short-haired male, and Ava is a long-haired female. We were both rescued from a scary place with lots of cars. Poor Jasper got hit by a car and hurt his jaw, but he's all better now! It did make his mouth a little lopsided, though, and we think it's pretty adorable.

We're both a bit shy, but we're learning to love people! Gentle pets and scratches on the butt are our favorites. We're getting better at being held, but sometimes we still get a little nervous. We'd do best with a family who knows how to handle a bit of kitty quirkiness.

We get along great with other cats and even calm dogs who will leave us alone when we need some space. We're not sure about very young children, so maybe a family with older kids would be best.

We're both fixed and have all our shots. We are a bonded pair, so we need to be adopted together to keep us happy and healthy.

Another successful night in the books! ✅ 📕

Tonight (last night by now?) was another all nighter, extremely well spent! While discovery the Dairy Queen kittens and mama, we discovered 3 male tom cats roaming the area as well. We knew we’d have to go back and TNR them, we couldn’t just ignore the males; but mom and kittens were priority at first. Since we successful got all of them Wednesday night; it was time to catch the males! Especially with the cold weather kicking in, it was so important to catch them.

We were successful in trapping all 3 males this evening and getting them into warmth and safety for the weekend! They will be fixed next week, and we aren’t sure the plan from there yet. We will be checking temperaments and socialization levels before releasing them or finding placement for them.

The Siamese male, temporarily called Harley, is in rough shape. He definitely appears to have been dumped or abandoned (possibly just lost), as he clearly wasn’t figuring out how to survive great out there. When we got him out of the trap he just looked relieved; like he could take a deep breath, relax and try to sleep and get warm for once. First time I have seen a cat immediately look relieved and thankful to be kenneled and safe.

This brings a total of 3 adult males, 1 mama, and 3 kittens caught at this very unexpected trap site that came to our attention because of an adoption of ours. 7 cats are now safe, warm, loved and well cared for this weekend that otherwise wouldn’t have been, had we not had an adoption on 1/1 that mentioned these kittens.

Again, so thankful for our very hard working trapping team, and our amazing fosters for helping us do this spur the moment and unexpected trap site when we weren’t quite prepared for what we got ourselves into! Way to go team, 👏 so thankful for everyone involved! Consider this trap site completed and a great success!

😻😻Welcome to rescue 😻😻

Many of you saw our post about sweet baby boy Buster, who we have been working non stop to try to trap his siblings and mama at a Dairy Queen drive through for quite a while.

I really was not sure this day would come, but it DID tonight!!!!! At about 6 pm tonight, I was able to trap Busters two siblings, and by about 6:15 tonight I had mama trapped as well!! FINALLY!!!! The weeks of searching, hunting around, trap training, moving trail cameras around every day, monitoring cameras and traps, the many sleepless overnights staying up to try to find and catch and bring these babies to safety have finally paid off!

A HUGE shout out to everyone involved in this pretty crazy and hectic rescue! From our amazing friends willing to help trap, to those offering to stay up all night to help monitor cameras and traps, to the awesome Dairy Queen staff and manager who had been feeding these cuties and looking out for them and for giving us chicken and bacon tonight to help trap them! To our amazing foster willing to be up at any time of night to take them if we caught them. Literally this was a HUGE team effort and I literally couldn’t have done this without all of you amazing souls! 💞💞💞💞

Tonight I can finally sleep well, knowing these 3 kittens and their mama are SAFE, they are WARM, they are FED and will forever be LOVED! 🥰

So we officially welcome the whole Diary Queen tribe. Meet Mama Royal, Buster, Julius, and Dilly, in honor of their Dairy Queen drive through life story 🐾 🐱

😻 Welcome to rescue Buster 😻

We were called out a couple weeks ago to an automotive shop, on a report of 2 lone kittens on site. It was suspected they came in, through a car engine by themselves at the time. I rushed out and tried to locate and trap these 2 kittens, and things have been chaos since. We have such an awesome trapping team right now who have come together to work literally around the clock, and numerous businesses helping us to try to continue to track and find the kittens. With lots of cameras and stake outs on site, we learned there was indeed a mom, suspected to be pregnant again, and several Tom cats on site. It’s a huge block of warehouses and businesses and a near impossible place to try to find small kittens with a really good mom who moves them constantly.

Mom did find a great shelter for her babies under a shed at Dairy Queen across the street. But she has been so unpredictable and so challenging to trap and catch. Of course we can’t catch mom without babies first, as the weather and temps are too dangerous for babies to be left alone. Mom has made this absolutely one of my hardest trap sites ever and has given me a run for my money. I’ve done more investigative work than ever and a LOT of all nighters, and a lot of team work to get these bbaies.

So yesterday, I pulled an all nighter, trying to trap kittens and mom. And FINALLY! I trapped 1 kitten at about 1:30 am!! Woohoo! 🥳 finally a success!!!

So meet Buster (since found at Dairy Queen)! Kitten number 1 so far from the site! Buster hasn’t even been with us 24 hours, and has a heart of gold and has stolen our hearts!! Buster accepted a full bath today, a brush out, nail clipping, and LOTS of love and snuggles with lots of loud purrs!!! This boy will be the sweetest boy in the world!! (See videos in comments!). This boy has just accepted that he is now warm, safe, clean of Matt’s and debris and now loved unconditionally already!!! He will make the perfect little boy!!!

It’s been an exhausting 2 weeks trying to trap this group. Even got stopped around 2:30 am by a police officer last night for acting suspicious in the middle of the night trapping 😂😂 But we continue on and will work continuously to trap mom and the sibling/siblings this week!!! For now- I’ll accept the success of rescuing this cutie overnight!!

Whelp! We could use some support and prayers today, as today hasn’t been the day we expected! 🙏 ❤️‍🩹

Some of you may remember our little sweet Killian (now Scout), part of our Siamese trio that got adopted together a while back. Well, I got a call today about this sweet boy potentially coming down with ocular FIP (dry FIP). 😭 which is a very very serious and emergent diagnosis in a cat. It entails extensive and fast medical attention to help them pull through it. I got the pictures and information and knew we had to jump into action and fast.

We now have the medications ordered for him and already in route to us to start his extensive treatment; consistent of 84 days of medications and support. This medication is not cheap, and will cost us about $280 every 2 weeks, for the complete 84 day treatment. This is not an expense we anticipated, but this boy is worth every single penny of that to save his life so he can continue to live an amazing life with his brothers and family!!

If you are able to help us with this ongoing new expense for the next couple months, we would greatly appreciate your help in saving this boys life for a second time! This boys deserves this chance! Help us save Scout ❤️‍🩹

We made it!!! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 One leg amputation done ✅ and one enucleation (eye removal) done ✅ today!

These two cuties had their surgeries today and it went well! ❤️‍🩹😻 Frida Mae struggled with some agitation while coming out of anesthesia, and trying to rip out her stitches; but she is settling down and sleeping in her heating pad comfortably now. Riley seems to be SO much more comfortable tonight than she was this morning when we left! You could tell her pain was bothering her this week.

I am so glad these girls were able to get their big surgeries done and over with and onto the road of recovery! ❤️‍🩹 these two cuties will make quite the duo!

❤️‍🩹Tomorrow is a big day for these two tuxie twins!!! ❤️‍🩹

These two cities, Frida Mae and Riley have a long drive tomorrow, to get their big surgeries done! This has been a long anticipated day for both of them, to start their road to recovery! ❤️‍🩹

Frida Mae is about 8 months old, and just the sweetest girl ever. She was our little feral coyote attack girl, who will be getting her full leg amputation done tomorrow finally! She will be so thankful to get some relief from her injuries!

Little Riley girl, is about 3.5-4 months old, and had a ruptured cornea, lots of frostbite and some small injuries from outdoor life. She was pulled from PUPS impound to get her eye removal surgery and care, and she finally gets that removed tomorrow!! She will feel SO much better without that eye! She has lost her ear to frostbite and is continuing to loose paw pads and more of her other ear to frost bite 😭 this girl has got to be in so much discomfort!

I’m so hopeful tomorrow goes well for these cuties and we can finally get them on the road to healing ❤️‍🩹! Stay tuned to see how our soon to be tripod and 1 eyed cuties do in recovery! ❤️‍🩹

If you can donate to help with their surgery costs, or can donate more hard food or litter to these girls, they would greatly appreciate the support!

🐱 Big paws, 🐾 even bigger hearts! 🐱 ♥️

These two big lovers are so ready to find their furrrever home together!! Louise and Clark are super special, and have a very special bond together. These two sweeties have literally had to help guide each other- as both are partially blind! Especially when they are were outside having much more trouble seeing out of their eyes. Since then, they’ve had lots of medications and treatments and can see so much better!

These two are extremely sweet and affectionate! Clark loves to put his big paws out and stretch out with his extra thumbs and nudge you for his chin scratches. He loves to use his extra big paws to throw his toys around the room 🐾 . Louise on the other hand, thinks she’s a flopping fish all the time, and is always flopping around for her belly rubs! This girl lives for the belly rubs! Video of her favorite thing in the comments below ⬇️ 😻😻

These two cuties would love a quieter home that will take it slow to help them adapt with their vision! But once they warm up they will be the sweetest snuggle bugs, and super playful! They will make the sweetest duo!

If you’d like to schedule a meet and greet with these two special sweeties, please fill out our adoption application below! 👇

✨ Adoption Spotlight ✨

‼️ Experience with Bengals/large breed exotic cats or extensive work with cats REQUIRED. I will not be scheduling visits with anyone not meeting these requirements and going through extensive questioning from us, Jinx requires a very specific adopter, so please do NOT submit any requests or messages unless you meet this. Please read this in its entirety before applying‼️

🐱 Meet Jinx! A beautiful 5 year old Bengal looking for his new forever home, with another playful large cat! No dogs, or small children.

Jinx came to our rescue to prevent him from being euthanized due to “urinating outside the litter box and aggression”. He was scheduled for euthanasia and we were able to rescue him just in time! He has not had any urinary issues since arriving to rescue, but will require an XL box or tote since he’s a long big boy!

Jinx will require someone who has a lot of patience, time, and love for such a special breed! Once you’ve earned his trust and respect, he will shower you with love and affection! Jinx has shown his resilience and strength since arriving to his fosters. He especially loves his chin, neck and ear scratches and will seek you out to get all the loves! Jinx is very content being around his people, but is not a big warm lap kitty. He loves companionship and being near and around his people, but likes his affection on his terms and his way. Like many bengals, he also is not a fan of being picked up and held. His foster mama has gained his trust enough, to be able to pick him up safely when needed, but he prefers not to be.

It’s very important his adopters also learn to read his body language, and be okay with the ways he chooses to communicate. He is still learning appropriate ways to communicate his needs. He will sometimes nip or swat at times, so his adopted cannot be scared of that or fearful, as he picks up on that. Jinx will often times do a small nip to get your attention, such as for you to play with him when he’s playful. He also tends to “bear hug” his foster mamas legs when he wants her to stay by him or go play with him.

Jinx’s curious nature will surely charm you as he takes on the world with his kitten like wonder and loves to be apart of the household. He is a very social cat and enjoys being around people. A holiday party with lots of guests? No problem! Jinx would love to join in if given the chance!

Jinx will need a home that can keep his mind engaged and give him lots of enrichment. Bengals are naturally high energy, and thrives in a home with the proper enrichment. He is extremely smart and loves to learn new tricks; such as walking down the hall to jump into his kitty stroller to go outside. Jinx would probably be easy to leash/harness train! He also loves running on his high quality cat wheel!

Jinx just loves to play and have fun! Another playful large cat would be perfect for him. A cat that isn’t territorial or dominate, who has the same energy level as him. His favorite playmate currently is a 10 month old female Savannah foster sister.

Like most bengals, Jinx is very vocal- so be ready for endless discussion and conversations with him!

Jinx was diagnosed in our care with mild asthma, mild hip arthritis, and food allergies (chicken suspected). He is on Instinct Limited Rabbit food, and prednisone every 3 days transdermal (so no pills), which have been working great for him. He would benefit from this plan being continued, or followed up on with his newly established vet for any changes. Because of Jinx’s demeanor, he will likely always require a sedated vet exam, to keep everyone safe. This will be something the adopted will need to consider for added expenses for vet visits for him.

Overall, Jinx has made tremendous improvements since being with his foster family, and he is so ready to find the perfect new family to love him continuously and endlessly. Jinx bonds intensely with someone and will need to remain with that person once he trusts them and respects them. He is an amazing boy, looking for his second chance at forever. Are you experienced with Bengal and want to love this boy through it all? Come meet him! He is a very special boy waiting for his next chapter in life.

Please submit all inquiries about Jinx through our adoption application below ⬇️

✨💕 Twice The Fun Tuesday 💕✨

Two kittens are better than one! ☝️ Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing, and research shows that kittens do not develop mentally and behaviorally as well without another kitten!

That’s why these two sets of cuties are excited to get adopted with their bonded friend!!! Start the new year off with a couple of sweet new furry family members! 🎆

Meet Wilbur and Henry, an energetic, fun loving, sweet and affectionate duo! These two boys love to play, wrestle and most of all snuggle with their humans! These two boys were bottle fed by me, and have a special place in my heart! Their foster mama says this about them: These little guys were bottle fed babies and to this day are very bonded. Watching these two will give you hours of laughs and when they are done playing, they will give you hours of snuggles! Wilbur is your typical orange kitten and is just goofy and free spirited with so much love to give. Henry is extremely playful with his toys and loves to interact with humans! Whoever gets these two little buddies will soon realize they hit a jackpot!

Meet our other duo, Thumbalina and Tabitha, a fun, free spirited, energetic and friendly set of girls! Thumbalina got her name because she has an extra thumb on just ONE of her front paws! 🐾 These two ladies love to play together, but also love to snuggle up in the arms of their foster mama and snuggle away when they aren’t playing and wrestling! These girls are super sweet together. Tabitha is a bit smaller than Thumbalina but they get along amazing and love each other! These two ladies are not quite ready to take home yet, but will be in a few short weeks so they would love to schedule some meet and greets and get lined up with their forever home for when they are ready to leave!!

To schedule a meet and greet with either of these bonded pairs, please fill out our adoption application below: ⬇️
