Please remember to look in Pawboost and even in Las Vegas, Arizona, etc as dogs go across borders and must be taken to that shelter. Please search shelter lost and found daily because if your dog is brought in and not claimed, it will be put up for adoption.
I search daily the surrounding shelters online for several missing dogs but it is overwhelming! Maybe we need a few people designated to each lost dog to search. Thoughts?

I know things have been quiet but it doesn’t mean I am not working hard behind the scenes. I have been taking it easy as I did get hurt pretty bad apparently and now I must heal but I am networking, trying to find missing dogs, putting out feelers, etc. Don’t lose hope! We will bring all these kids home!

I had a successful rescue this week! Oddly as I was driving home from searching for the German Shepherd, I saw this couple on the side of the road trying to get something. I stopped and they said there is a little dog running up and down the street and they can’t catch it. They said they wished they had a leash or food. I giggled and pulled out a bowl of food I had and leashes. I didn’t tell them why, I just got out and lured the puppy in and got it. Of course the dog had no tags but the owner was found and the dog is home.

Welcome new friends! I think this group has a really good foundation of becoming a great success! We are all volunteers here and help when we can. I usually find out about a special case from certain folks or I just browse posts and decide to go look for their dog. I have met so many nice people who have become friends forever!
Everyone is welcome! All ideas are welcome! This is an interactive page and group and I am just here to help kick it off and to keep it going.
I would love someone to manage this site with me so I can focus on searching.
I do have a wish-list but since I am not a Non-Profit and this is all completely volunteer, I am not sure how to acquire everything. Some items are: Live animal traps different sizes, slip leads, drone operator with drone, trail cams, Catch Pole, Snappy Snare and I know there is more.
I am working on having custom car magnets made for volunteers to put on when searching as it is amazing what you can get away with when you have a SAR magnet.
I would love a logo.

We have many Jeeps, we have a horse, we have Side by Sides, we have a trained search dog (drug) and retired officer, and many more supporters! I can't express enough how thankful I am!
Even today The Desert Rat is supporting us now!!

Yes, there has been a lot of animals being dumped it is not your imagination. So I wanted to put this out there and make sure everyone is aware of the rules. It’s a serious crime that can carry significant fines, probation, and even jail time. I am currently trying to see if I can post a reward for information leading to a person being charged and convicted for this crime. If your dog has a temperament problem or not what you wanted, please surrender him/her to the St. George Animal Shelter; Washington City Animal Shelter, Mesquite Animal Shelter or any county shelter in your area. There are rescue groups that can work with the dog. Dumping a dog along the highway can result in a car swerving, accidents and even death. THIS IS A SERIOUS CRIME. There is no reason to EVER abandon your dog!

Search update:
We have not had any spottings do searching is difficult. We have walked up and down both sides of the freeway many miles. I did see fresh dog prints on the northbound side of the freeway down in the sand but I could not cross the river. The one picture is of an animal that has feet bigger than a football so I decided he can have his side and I will stay on my side.
All of the searchers today went above and beyond but now we are going to wait to hear of a sighting.
It was amusing to watch an AZ trooper pull people over left and right at Cedar Pocket. Just while I was able to watch, he had bagged 12. My friends saw him bag 5. I asked him if knows about the dog and he said no but that he would wave at it as he drove by. 😡. Now I feel bad for everyone that got pulled over.

The Cedar Pocket search has reached over 1.8 thousand already!!

I can definitely use some help if anyone wants to get involved! I do have 1 person coming on who i am very excited about as he even has a SAR dog!

Keep your eyes out for a large dog trap and a small trap as I do not have one and have to rely on someone letting me borrow one from a shelter. I was donated some bowls and blankets from Blue Sky today! ❤️.

2020 will be a great year for this cause! I am debating on which way to take this but no matter which way I go, the mail goal is to reunite lost owner with their animals!

Update: I have been working with Find My Canine - Mesquite and Surrounding Areas. We stay in constant communication. As I am usually out hunting, Tina is gathering information and weeding through it. The trap has been moved. Miles have been walked, blood has been shed and muscles ache. It’s what we love!

Search NOW! Go to Gorge! Cedar Pocket. Looking for German Shepherd. There is a trooper there as well. I will be in my yellow Jeep.
Dog was dumped by a man in a silver truck. Trooper unable to catch him. We will need to trap him tomorrow unless someone can bring me a trap now. I am just at the same spot where Whimper was found.
Update: I’m out here using night vision! Pretty cool except I haven’t found him yet.

I urge everyone to watch the impound list in Vegas even if your dog or cat was lost in Utah or AZ. There ARE people who have been known to take dogs and “relocate” them across state lines.

I just went through every cities Lost and Found on Craig’s List for the states of AZ, NM, NV, UT looking for Gunner, Ripley, Mochi, and Bilbow. No luck. I have searched PetHarbor for found dogs within 200 miles of Las Vegas, St. George, Flagstaff..... and still going through the states and areas.

Mochi’s owner had a great idea tonight....as there are so many people the run, rally your running group to keep an eye out for the dogs. Have them download an audio of the owners calling out for their dogs. ( I am thinking I can make these available for everyone)

Re: Ripley

I sent an email to a lot of my friends yesterday that live in CA, NV, NM, AZ, UT and asked them to please post on their pages the story of Ripley. I asked them to also perhaps post on their local Craig’s List to look out for him. I think the more “friends” we all can send this to, the better the chances of getting Ripley back to his owners.
Can I ask that you guys join in the effort and send the information to your friends too? I told them to just google “Ripley Bernese Mountain Dog” and pick a link to use as there are tons. We just need to get the word out there and since this guy has been seen hitchhiking with Ripley, who knows..... one of our friends just may catch him!!

I love and appreciate the support I am receiving from my friends and my fellow Jeepers and off-roaders! This kind of goes hand in hand! Grab your toys and go into the great beyond to find that lost critter!
If anyone wants to organize a search for a particular animal, let’s post it and go for it! I am always willing to let someone take my Wildcat and trailer!

Gunner has been lost a very long time but nobody is giving up hope on him either. Please keep your eyes open and scan cars as they drive by. Maybe Gunner is inside. When your traveling, search Craig’s List or just look around. There are several people here in Utah who are known for taking dogs and relocating them just to be mean.

I am trying a new concept. I will have a few admins so people can organize their own searches if they want. I just want a place where we can all post active searches so people can jump in and help if they want and only have to go to 1 place to look instead of looking all over. I also thought it nice to have a place to list out resources we have available somehow so we know who we can ask for what when needed. Maybe someone can help with that set up. If you want to be an Admin, let me know.

Efforts are still active to find these boys or any information what happened to them. Some aerial searches have been done but we ask anyone flying around the area to look. Extensive ground searches have been ongoing. There will be more folks going out this weekend. If your interested is coming along, comment here.....
