Ella is more of a snuggle baby, while she loves to play and have fun she is very affectionate. She doesn’t like competition, and doesn’t want to be the boss.

These two handsome boys went to their forever homes over the weekend. I seriously cannot believe it’s been just over 8 weeks already. It has been such an honor hosting them in our home. These puppies have been so much fun, and such a huge part of our family. We love them so much!!

I was so happy to meet their families in person, and see the love that they have for their boys already. This is literally one of my favorite part of bringing puppies and families together as one.

Yesterday we experienced a few new things… Puppy “potty training” and a cat. The safest and easiest way to begin potty train a young puppy is with a “litter box”. We use an alfalfa/ timmothy grass pellet mixture - this smells and behaves the most like grass. It’s safe because the puppies aren’t old enough to go outside, and they aren’t exposed to anything potentially harmful. Puppy potty training isn’t a lot of fun. In the beginning it’s a lot of work, but it’s very helpful at keeping their space clean. The puppies didn’t care too much about the cat, and the cat didn’t really care about the puppies - but on an 1:1 basis this cat will sleep next to them. Over the next few days we will be doing a lot of desensitizing training, cat training, litter box training.
