Sitting at my Waggz table working on Stella and all I can hear in my head is saying “coat renovation!” I’m loving the new techniques that we were taught at the NW Groom Expo and the doggos sure seem to be loving them as well! Thank you Victor for the great classes!

We - Olivia and I - are so excited to be at the NW Groom Expo this weekend! We are taking classes for four whole days, while watching grooming competitions for both breed standard and creative grooming!

We are so excited to learn new techniques and bring all of this new knowledge to the salon and your doggos!

Look at this handsome Gus Gus! He came in for his spring blow out today, and wow did he understand the assignment 😂 I think we shed out four more of him! But he’s the goodest boy and is this happy the whole time. We love all the doggos!

As we roll in spring, we’d love to remind everyone that we love to meet your puppies and introduce them to grooming as soon as they’re vaccinated! The earlier we meet them, the earlier we can show them that grooming is not scary and that we are their best friends away from home. Just like these two babies!

Hello everyone! There's been lots of talk about the new canine respiratory illness that's making its way around the state. Are you wondering what protocols we have in place to help protect your doggos? Let me share!

We are installing a few new pieces of equipment tomorrow when they arrive.

First off, we will be running at all times an air purification system, to help remove allergens and germs from the air.

Secondly, we will be installing UV germicidal sanitizer lights. You might notice them; there will be a large one in the grooming area, one in the kennel room and one in the bathing room. These will be run every night upon closing (since they cannot be run while people or animals are in the building). These are proven to work with both bacterial and viral contaminants.

Third - we are sanitizing stations between every dog. Tables, tubs and kennels will be sanitized between every dog, every time. We don't put dogs together unless they live together, so that will remain the same.

Fourth - please remember that though this isn't kennel cough, having your dog current on all pertinent vaccinations is a big piece of their health puzzle. Ensure that your vaccinations are current and if you're concerned, the BEST person to chat with is your pets veterinarian.

Of course, if you have concerns and would like to reschedule your appointment, we're happy to do so. We just ask that you please let us know, don't just no show. Staff is scheduled based off of appointments and no shows are really hard to work around.

We recognize that this is a new bug and seems very contagious. We love all of your dogs like our own, and only want the best for them. Please feel free to chat with us, with your vet and with your people to discuss the best course of action for your household.
