General information

Alaskan Malamutes are large, athletic dogs, traditionally bred to pull heavy loads in the arctic. They love to work hard and are happiest at temps below 40 degrees. Malamutes like people, are good with kids and make good family dogs. They do not make particularly good guard dogs.
