My sweet Jackson turned 3 today so I took some time off to spend with my family this weekend. Jack has loved animals since the day he started noticing what was around him. He’s gentle and loving with little puppies, and loves to help me or his Grandma with puppy and dog care. He likes to say, “mommy, are we going to grandmas to take pictures?” I will help you! He exposed our puppies to kids in the best way from being gentle with them, to playing with them when they get bigger. I’m so thankful that my boys get to grow up and be raised the way I was raised. Jack & Weston and all of my nieces and nephews are all a big part of Wrights Mountain Goldens.
We have had three litters born in the past week and my goal is to get caught up on email’s tomorrow. Thank you for your patience!

There was an OFA clinic in New Hampshire yesterday, hosted by and a few other breeders. Some of our upcoming momma Goldens got their OFA eyes & auscultations done. My sister Julia and her husband brought up their two 1 year old girls, Champy & Chowder from Rhode Island. My sister Laura brought her two young girls, May & Montana who are also both 1 year old as well as momma Maizey for an eye recheck.
Two upcoming poodle mommas from came as well. All of these girls passed both tests! Thank you to the breeders who hosted this clinic!

Pup feature! Jillian from owns three WMG pups. She does all of our parent dogs photos and we are thankful we made the connection with her in 2019. Her oldest WMG is Tulsi, who is 5 years old and the daughter of Stella & Samson. She got Tripp in 2021, who is four years old and also from Stella & Samson.
Her youngest girl is Cedar, who is 11 months old and the daughter of Nova & Woodrow. Cedar is our first girl in our guardian home program, and a potential momma for our program, pending health testing and growing up.
We are thankful for Jillian, her love for dogs & Goldens and all the beautiful pictures she takes!

Happy 5th birthday to our girl Nova. A wonderful momma dog who loves to steal snacks, chase squirrels, go on runs, and hog half the bed at night. Swipe to see what she normally looks like. Elsa has found her family, and will be going to meet them in New York tomorrow.
Her litter was our last litter of Goldendoodles. We will miss having them, but due to the decline of applications for them, we have decided to focus on Goldens and Poodles.
Be sure to follow our Poodles of the Northern Woods Page, if you’re considering a Standard Poodle puppy. We have two litters due in November.

Thank you to all those who shared and reposted about these puppies. They all found wonderful homes! I’ll share the litter photos when Elsa meets her family. A young family, with two daughters that just lost their 13 year old Goldendoodle. She will have a wonderful life with them!

Our Story

Lanette Wright started raising Golden's because she loved their disposition and she wanted to breed great family dogs. In the last few years we have added Golden-Doodles and Standard Poodles, which are also wonderful pets. In 2014 we opened a boarding kennel.
