Hey y’all it’s been a minute! For those who’ve followed since the beginning of the year you’ll know that my health declined rapidly and I made the decision to not breed any more rabbits for the rest of the year. That plan still continues but I’m choosing to extend that break even longer in order to pour all my energy into my Service dog in training, so I downsized to 5 rabbits. I kept my best and the rest have left. I kept my 4 pets, Evie, Frank, Jasper, and Goose as well as one of my nicest harle doe who I don’t believe I’ve ever introduced… anyway her name is cricket and she’s the cutest little brat ever. So I no longer have any harlequin buck’s except for Pua who still hasn’t found a home yet. I’m so sad to see my bunnies go but I need my service dog so that one day I can start back up again! But apart from the rabbits the homestead continues, we have my moms chickens, our garden, and ofc the pet bunnies and the bunnies that get to hang out until I’m ready to start breeding again (aka Cricket) thank you so much to everyone who has stuck around during this crazy year it’s meant a lot!💚

We’re gonna take a break from breeding rabbits for the rest of the year, we’ll probably kick the harlequin program back up in March but for now I just need a break. The rabbits will he very happy to have the summer and winter off☺️

Very happy to say that Pua DOES NOT carry magpie! Which means all of winky’s kits are Japanese and man are they gorgeous! Super high Rufus so far especially on the blacks I’m soo excited to have blue Japanese! Evie will be bred in October as well as my new junior doe and Evie’s daughter catnip hoping for all Japanese!

Now on a happier note Winky delivered 11 kits, 9 remain alive and healthy! These kits have been extremely well fed, I’m so proud of Winky she did so amazing!

Let’s talk! Please please please only inquire about rabbits if you really want them!! I go above and beyond trying to get these rabbits so friendly especially when I know they’re going to kids or to be 4h rabbits, the bunnies going to 4h are worked on showmanship just as often as my own 4h rabbit is, I work so hard on these guys and I’ve had a ton of people completely ghost or back out when it comes time to drop off the rabbit. From now on dep0$it’s will be required before every I can not keep on moving around plans, driving out to meet people, work showmanship, and make sure these rabbits are beyond friendly just for people to back out.

Evie’s little litter of two!

Tha Japanese is a doe and I’m still not sure on the magpie but I’m thinking buck!

They both officially earned names! So introducing HLR Arizona (Japanese) and HLR Pepsi (Magpie)

Winky would like to remind our friends that bunnies have to stay cool too!

Rabbits regulate temperature with their ears which is why Holland lops and other dwarf breeds have a rough time staying cool luckily harlequins don’t have that problem😉

How to keep your bunnies cool:
1. Frozen water bottles! They’re winky’s favorite as they also work as a toy but the bunnies love to flop next to them!

2. Frozen tiles, these work well too but they don’t stay cold quite as long as the water bottles

3. Frozen fruit, this makes a great treat as well as a great way to cool them down. Keep in mind some bunnies won’t eat if they’re too hot

4. Misting, I try and mist the bunnies 2-3 times a day it’s a super easy way to cool them down and they stay cool for quite a while. Please remember not to get them super wet, a light layer of mist is plenty!

5. Rubbing ice cubes on the ears, this works very well for Holland lops! It’s a fast way to cool them down and they will love to eat the ice cubes after your done!

Anyone in need of a nicely marked harlequin buck? He’s not awful but I chose to keep his brother instead and I only want to grow out three of these harlequins and I definitely don’t need two magpie bucks as I want to primarily work with Japanese.

Evie is due in a week! I made the pairing based on type x markings despite me wanting to do type x type😅 I’ll be very interested to see how these kits turn out! Evie’s kits almost all came out stunning, specially her little buck and doe with a bite out of her ear. They’ve all grown into stunning juniors!

Hi everyone I have some big updates!

First off I’m officially selling out of Mini Rex, I’m really done with these dwarf breeds.

I’m also selling most of the Holland lops, only the best of the best will stay and I will never have more than 3 Holland lops at a time. The hollands will have 1-2 litters in a year once in the fall and once in the spring or either in the summer or fall. The rabbits staying right now are Zola and Maverick both of whom will probably live out the rest of their lives here.

Annnd I’m letting the harlequins take over the barn! These beautiful rabbits will be almost my entire rabbit project these stunning rabbits are just the most perfect creatures and my barn is going to be so much more happy filled with gorgeous harle faves and their funny personalities!

We may consider getting another breed to replace the mini Rex and hollands but it will definitely not be a dwarf breed and it’ll probably be commercial so if anyone has any ideas for breeds that they’d like to see more of drop a comment below!

4 babies from ms pebbles! I need new theme name ideas so if you want drop your ideas in the comments☺️ there’s 2 brokens and 2 solids I’m super excited to watch these babies grow!

I’m also sad to announce this will be pebbles last litter, she had some complications and I think it’s just time for her to retire. Pebbles has been a fantastic addition to my little herd and she will be missed but I’m excited to see her in a home where she can be a spoiled pet!

Update! Mostly on the cavy, the pups are almost 2 weeks old, Samoa has been a perfect mom! We also created a new cage which is much bigger and everyone seems to enjoy it so far! Kreacher is very ready to be bred so maybe I will have some Aby pups after all😉

And for rabbits Fleur aborted, she’s been rebred and is due June 20th! Out of the Holland does pebbles was the only one who took and she is due the 31st of this month! Super excited to have Holland babies running around again!!!

My little show team for may 27th, super excited for another SOBO! We might bring Timber too if he can lose a few ounces. Many of you don’t know that I’m a disabled youth breeder, I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user and this will be my first show using my wheelchair! I’m super excited to see how it goes!!!

Timber is possibly up for consideration… he’s the last of my mini rex and a very showy buck so he can only go to a show breeding home no pet for this guy. I’m just putting feelings out there to see who may be interested in him💚 Pedigreed sr chocolate otter buck 1 leg

This buck is absolutely adorable not to mention he looks so promising at only 3 weeks (better than the rest of his siblings)! Logan will most likely be staying here as a grow out along with his sister Marvel

Always great to see a nice batch of pellets! I’m always impressed with Purina show! All of them were on Purina fibere3 but my mini Rex coats looked weird and nobody liked it very much not to mention the feed looked dead, Purina show always looks so bright and it’s A LOT less dusty!
