It is with a very heavy heart to announce that Bair Bottom Rabbitry will be parting with all of our beautiful Hollands this weekend! I want to thank everyone who has helped us over the past several years to get started in our Rabbitry experiences. We have accomplislot over the short time and were Nationally ranked in both of our breeds. I hope to get to a few shows still to visit with our rabbit family. I still have some supplies in the way of dishes, nest boxes, scales, wheelie carts , and carriers if anyone is interested. All my cages are spoken for. I will try to get pictures of the supplies i have left. I have several of the two types of feeders pictured in this post too. If interested drop me aline.

Re-purposed bird cages to keep the critters out of my starts. Plus, I can cover them at night if it gets too chilly.

Had a very enjoyable show today at the Washington Court House show. I showed four young jrs inthe Holland Lop classes. In show A with Bryan Shirk judging I had the top two jr bucks and top two jr does alike picking up legs for the winners. In Show B under Al Gearhart the jr doe won her second leg. This was her first time showing. With our MiniRex I showed two Sr Black does and a Sr black buck. The sr buck picked up two legs placing BOS in show A and BOB in show B. His sister picked up the BOS in show B. This was their first show. All our placing were from third and fourth generation lines here at Bair Bottom Rabbitry. Was nice to see our friends at todays show and meet new people as well. Now on to Urbana tomorrow!

Gracie and the family has made the hard decision to move on from Mini Rex later this year. With work and Gracie getting ready for her senior year, she has decided to move on from showing rabbits after fair this year in August. Most likely, we will be putting up stock throughout the summer after we have some friends go through and get what they want first. Dad has decided that he is going to keep a skeleton bunch of Hollands and Blue Holicers to mess with and show in open this fall. If you have any questions please reach out to Rodney Bair. Understand all of them will not be sold until after fall and we have made final decisions. It’s been a great time for Gracie and I to show these last years, and who knows what holds in the future.

A HUGE thank you to all those that have helped us over the year all over the country!! Dad isn’t leaving, but Gracie and I are taking a break after the fair this year!
