A week ago today marked our one year anniversary since we opened our doors on February 23rd, 2021.

We’ve made mistakes for sure, but we’re so grateful to have learned and grown so much in the last year. And we’re especially grateful for all of our wonderful clients, many of whom have become friends, who have referred (sometimes literally) everyone they know to us 😆

Help us wish our store bird, Fereydun (Ferey for short), a happy 1 year birthday!

Ferey is named after a mythical Persian king and hero who defeated the tyrannical serpent king Zahak and freed the entirety of the Persian, Arab, and Roman worlds from injustice. Our Ferey is similarly brave and entertains himself by playing games with the dogs who come in, from whistling at them to pretending to be stuck in the cage bars to antagonize them 😆

One of the things that makes dog grooming fun is how different every dog and every cut is. We like to describe the process as similar to chiseling a sculpture out of a block of marble - you just keep taking a little here and a little there until you’re left with just the essence (a beautiful, happy dog).
