One of my favorite mentors encouraged me to let viewers engage my photo captures to formulate their own narrative prior to me speaking on any specific messages or themes. Storytelling can be done without having to use words to describe a scene. Each session I cover I tend to know upon capture when I've successfully executed this process. Last week I know I had it when this play developed in front of my lens.

Summer of 2003 I began capturing senior portraits for the Cretin-Derham Hall class of 2004. Today is the first day of photographing the class of 2024. Grateful is an understatement for the decades of trust from the school to complete this project every year.

to the 400-year celebration of Salesian in 2010 by Visitation School and Convent. This year they celebrate 150 years since six Visitation Sisters left their convent in St. Louis in 1873 and traveled up the Mississippi River by steamship to found a Visitation School in St. Paul. Congratulations on this amazing milestone!
