Meet Bigfoot, our spicy 10-year-old chihuahua mix! This little guy has had quite the adventure before joining us. Despite missing an eye, he’s got a fiery spirit—think spicy but not quite atomic! As we get to know him, his sweet side is starting to shine through.

Bigfoot is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms, so he needs a local adopter who can help him on his journey to recovery. He gets along well with other dogs, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. If you're ready to give this brave little guy a loving home, Bigfoot is excited to meet you!

Meet Tallahassee – A Gentle Old Soul Looking for Her Forever Lap ❤️‍🩹

Tallahassee is a tenderhearted little lady with a story that will melt your heart. Estimated to be around 13 years old, this darling Miniature Pinscher-Dachshund mix has already known deep love and heartbreaking loss. After her beloved human passed away, she found herself without a home — overlooked and unwanted by remaining family. But we saw the spark in her sweet eyes and knew she still had so much love left to give.

Tallahassee may be a bit reserved when first meeting new people, but with just a little patience and a soft voice, she’ll quickly curl her way into your heart — and your lap! Once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll discover a true snuggle bug who lives for cozy cuddles and long naps surrounded by her favorite plushies. Her favorite pastime? Nestling into a warm bed with a soft toy and dozing the day away.

She’s a senior girl with a few special needs that just make her more unique. Tallahassee has some congenital paw deformities and only one fully formed paw — but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying the little things in life. She also experiences urinary leakage due to a small, thickened bladder, so she wears diapers when indoors (and looks absolutely adorable doing so!). She can get anxious when left alone, so a calm, reassuring home where someone is often around would be ideal for her comfort and well-being.

Tallahassee is looking for a forever home that understands the beauty of senior dogs — a home filled with kindness, patience, and plenty of soft blankets. She’s not looking for much: just someone to love, a cozy place to rest, and a heart that’s ready to welcome an old soul with so much love left to give.

Here's your monthly reminder! If you buy anything from Petland, you are supporting puppy mills. Here's a fairly young puppy mill mama who has been overbred. Once she is older and can't breed, they will toss her aside because she then becomes an expense. Do better people.
