We are offering up to 7 nights of free boarding for pets of evacuees, so pets get the loving care and shelter they need.

We will verify evacuation zone residency upon your arrival (driver's license, etc.). If residency cannot be verified, we can still offer boarding at our regular rates as long as we have availability. We urge anyone who is evacuating to go ahead and get copies of your pets' medical records and vaccine history, as we have to adhere to our boarding vaccination requirements.

🚗 Rapid Heat Increase: Even with the windows cracked, the temperature inside a parked car can skyrocket to dangerous levels in just minutes. On an 85°F day, the temperature inside a car can reach 102°F within 10 minutes!

😓 Risk of Heatstroke: Pets can suffer from heatstroke quickly in these conditions. Symptoms include heavy panting, drooling, weakness, and collapse. Heatstroke can be fatal if not treated immediately.

🕒 No Safe Time: There is no safe amount of time to leave your pet in a car, even if you’re just running a quick errand. It’s better to leave them at home where it’s cool and safe.

🐾 Take Action: If you see a pet left in a hot car, take immediate action. Note the car’s make, model, and license plate and contact local authorities or animal control.
