🎉 Everything is moving along well, and we anticipate opening later this week! 🐾 🎉

🚨 Big Update from Kitten Division! 🚨

It’s been a long few weeks, but we’re almost there! Huge progress has been made on our new location, and we’re excited to announce that with one final push this weekend, we expect to reopen for adoptions and intake sometime next week!

🐾 Our Spay/Neuter & Wellness Clinic is already open for scheduling! And as a thank you for your patience and support during our move, we’re offering FREE microchips with any other service — now through the end of the year!

Moving Right Along! 🚛🐾

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has adopted from us and to the amazing fosters who helped us clear the shelter! All cats and kittens are now safe in temporary foster homes, and the shelter is eerily quiet this evening.

More gratitude goes out to the volunteers who have already started packing and moving items into storage and beyond. There’s still a lot to move, and we’ve got a large crew coming in this Sunday to load the U-Haul and move the bulk to our new location: 320 Ichord Avenue, Ste. J, Waynesville.

👉 We still need a few strong hands and backs on Tuesday morning (Sept. 30) to clear out the last of the equipment. If you're available and can help with heavy and bulky items, please message the page—we’d love your help!

And last but definitely not least, endless thanks to our all-volunteer remodel crew, who began work on the new space today! They’re putting in a ton of effort to get everything ready for the cats to come home as soon as possible. 🎉 Big News – We’re Moving! 🏠🐾

The update you’ve all been waiting for is finally here: We’re moving to a new location!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve secured a lease at Town Field Plaza on Ichord Avenue in Waynesville, right next door to Rocky Top Pets! This move marks a huge step forward for us, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

✨ Important Dates:

Last day for adoptions at our current location is September 27.

Those that have spay/neuter or wellness appointments in September, they will go on as scheduled. Those with appointments the first half of October, we will reach out to you personally yet this week to reschedule.

We expect to re-open mid-October at our new location – just in time for a spooky fun Halloween Party! 🎃👻

Wellness Wednesday's!

Vaccinations for Kittens & Puppies 🐾💉

Kittens and puppies need a series of vaccinations to build strong, lasting immunity. The schedule typically begins at 6 to 8 weeks of age and continues until around 16 weeks. Once fully vaccinated, adult cats and dogs require booster shots every 1 to 3 years, depending on the vaccine and your veterinarian’s recommendation.

🩺 Wellness Clinic Hours: Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly encouraged for faster service.
