CJ the Great Dane therapy dog

I’m sure CJ is looking across the rainbow bridge with a giant smile on his face. While CJ was a therapy dog, he never had the chance to get certified as a crisis response therapy animal. I know he would be extremely proud of his sister.

Today Ella became a HOPE Crisis Response Therapy dog. I am so proud of my amazing girl!!

Today CJ crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈
He walked in on his own four paws, with his head held high, just like he did on so many therapy visits. We was surrounded by his mom, dad, and sister Princess Ella Therapy Dog. It was honor to be able to share CJ with all of patients, staff, and family on his visits. I was also my honor to share him with all of you. He truly was a gift from God.

My sister came with me to my acupuncture appointment this morning. My Wobber’s Syndrome has been acting up the last couple days and I am having trouble walking. Daddy is hoping that the acupuncture will help me.

Happy Independence Day everyone. I am taking care of my mom. Dad had COVID but is pretty much all better now. Mom is about 3 days behind so me and Ella are taking turns watching over her.

Moooom……can I please just have my presents with out all the birthday pictures? Anyway. I will be opening more presents and eating more treats over the next couple weeks but hopefully mom will not insist on me getting all dressed up every time. Thanks for all the toy, treats, visits, and birthday wishes. I think after 4 days of celebration, I am ready to just snuggle with daddy and take a nap.

Last night I got to continue my birthday celebrations. For those of you who don’t know this is my friend Willow. Like me she has Wobber’s Syndrome. We got to play with each other, play with my new toys, and even eat more of my cake.

Since I still can’t post for myself, I will have to blame my daddy for not posting much lately. As my 10th birthday approaches, I have finally talked daddy into posting about my cancer. As those who have followed me for years know, I have cancer on my leg. It has been removed 4 times but do to where it is located they could never get clean margins so it continued to come back. Well about a year and half ago it came back again. Knowing that it wouldn’t spread and that my chances of surviving surgery were not very good, my dad made the decision to let the cancer grow because he was not willing to take the chance that I might not make it through surgery. The cancer really only bothers me when it is growing quickly and stretching my skin. Daddy says if I live long enough it could eventually affect my nerves and blood flow in that leg. For now I continue to enjoy life. I still get a couple outings for puppuccinos or just go to someplace where I can meet new people and make new friends. While I still enjoy seeing people and making people smile, as I grow older, I find I like to sniff a lot and get treats. Well I think I it’s time to get back to sleep.
