I have a solid background in caring for pets of different breeds, temperaments, and various stages of life spanning over ten years. The majority of my experience has stemmed from volunteer work through animal rescues where I fostered dogs and cats in need, as well as owning pets personally. I currently have two dogs and three cats. My older dog is coming up on seventeen this year and I have an old
er cat at about thirteen or possibly older with chronic kidney failure, so I’m familiar with the extra care that goes into our senior pets! My other dog is a 120lb Labrador/Great Pyrenees of only three years old, and my other two cats are 10 and 2 years old. After four years of being employed with a boarding/doggy daycare company, I’ve decided it is no longer the type of work I enjoy. I’ve realized that I wish to offer pet care to the owners whose pets struggle in a kennel environment or dogs who specifically do not thrive in a group play session with other dogs. As a current and previous owner of reactive dogs, I understand experiencing disappointment that your dog isn’t able to attend daycare or play with other dogs in general. Some dogs just prefer human companionship and interaction, which I’d love to give them while you’re away! I am insured + bonded through Pet Care Insurance, and First Aid/CPR Certified.
