COURTESY POST/NOT A YROC RESCUE.

Tian Tian is 13 and 4 lbs. She's lived with the same pack mama her whole life. But now that mama must leave the country to go take care of a relative and has no idea when she'll be back. Tian Tian needs a safe place to call home to live out her golden years.

Currently she's in Orlando, Florida but we can get her to a few surrounding states for the right family.

More about her:

A little hard of hearing. She does respond to sound but not consistently. She is sweet but not much of a cuddler. She is a bit aloof and needs someone who will let her warm up at her own pace. She would do great in a home with other friendly small dogs who can show her how to β€œdog”. She is basically healthy for an older dog and up to date on shots. It looks like she has the beginning of cataracts but she still seems like she sees ok at this time.

Interested parties must:

1. no small children
2. a safe yard
3. own your home
4. no big dogs

Please share to help us find a safe place for this sweet girl. Send Kay Bratt a message if you are a good fit.

EMERGENCY POST for MISHA ❀

Misha was found as a stray and was walking in faith.. starving, emaciated and covered in fleas. In excruciating pain. But she put one foot in front of the other in her last desperate attempt to find someone who could help her.

Fate put her in our path and she was rushed to surgery last night, where they removed the 'biggest bladder stone they'd ever seen', the size of an egg. Once her matted hair was shaved down, they found she had tons of scabs on her poor skin.

She's been through it, y'all. No one can even imagine what hell she has seen in her approximately two years. But she's a survivor!

It's time for a re-do for little Misha. Time to show her what love and concern is, and that she deserves better than what her first humans did to her.

The bills are stacking up and in just 24 hours are already at $2000. This tiny rescue doesn't have the funds to take these emergency cases, but we still do.

Only because of you.

YOU are their village.

We have a wonderful couple who have stepped up to foster little Misha but we need help with the financial part.

Would you like to be an angel sponsor for Misha?

Brooks and Dunn Looking for fur-ever! (must be within 100 miles of NC to apply. Sorry!)

They are a pair of 11 month old male yorkies. They came from an environment of limited socialization, so they had a bit of a rough start in life.

Upon rescue they were extremely timid and shy; wouldn't even make eye contact. While we thought it would take some time to help them to be the dogs they are supposed to be, we were amazed that within a day they were quickly giving their bellies to rub. Within a few days, they learned to give kisses, walk on a leash and ultimately show how forgiving dogs are. Amazing what a little bit of love can do!!

They are the sweetest little things - 6 and 7 lbs of pure love. They follow their foster mom everywhere. Their favorite thing to do is explore outside and snuggle on the couch right next to you.
They are low key pups!

They would be amazing companion pets for someone who is home often or works from home as they love a human's companionship.

Even when scared, theοΏΌ boys display zero ounce of aggression. Due to their size, however, it is not recommended to live with small children due to the risk of injury. They are still working on house breaking but are very smart and should do well with consistency and time. They will require someone who has patience to housebreak. They respond very well to correction and you can tell they just want to please.

Brooks - he's the smaller of the two, but appears to be the one in control. Isn't that always the case? He is his fosters shadow. Wherever she is you will find him. He's such a loyal pup. He's at her feet all day while she works in her office and on the couch snuggled next to her at night. He's protective and will bark at new people or sounds of people outside. Loves giving kisses and belly rubs.

Dunn - he's the braver of the two. He's comfortable with venturing to other rooms to explore, but always comes back to find his foster. He follows his brothers lead a lot and is more playful.

They are going to be amazing companions for the right family.

If interested please submit your application in the link below -

and email photos of the home, yard, and living areas to [email protected] with subject line of Brooks and Dunn.

We need your help!

Meet Brooks & Dunn. They are just 2 of the 4 we have taken under our umbrella this week. Their owner is an elderly Marine vet who loves all his dogs dearly, but things have gotten away from him. He did a loving thing to let them go into rescue, where we can get them what they need, socialize them, and get them new homes. It was very hard for him to say goodbye.

The boys are in a foster home together now, being tended to but their fur-ever home will need to be with someone who has a ton of patience because it will take some time and effort to get them where they need to be.

These boys are brothers. Dunn is very, very timid and has spent most of his young life of just one year hiding behind furniture. They had to be sedated to be groomed and are already feeling better as you can see in the bottom photo!

The boys will need to be neutered, vaccines, dentals, and there may be more issues we don't know yet. The two other dogs also need to be spayed/neutered, vaccines.

The cost to get these four dogs ready for their fur-ever home will be at least $3000 and possibly more. If you have anything to spare to help, (any amount is appreciated!) we would be very grateful.

We love getting updates from families! Especially those who have taken in one of our trauma pups.

We called this one Belle the Bruiser. She was dog aggressive and very reactive, attacking dogs bigger than her for no reason. She also had a horrible case of fleas and all over yeast infection, making her hair fall out and causing her to be miserable. All her aggression was out of fear and self-preservation. See her eyes in that first picture? Full of fear and wondering what is coming next?

She was traumatized. I didn't think we'd ever find her a home that would keep her. Everyone wants a Yorkie. But they want the perfect one. That's hard to find in rescue. They are here for a reason!

Then comes Terri and Paul. They took in Belle, knowing all of her issues. They hired a trainer. They were patient, but I know it was hard!

But for Belle the Bruiser, it all worked out. She's happy and knows she's safe. They will always have to keep working with her, but they took her as their own, warts and all. And those are special humans to love her through it.

She's no longer called Belle the Bruiser. That's behind her.
She is now their sweet little Bella Bear.

TOOTSIE GOT HER HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Some of you may remember the dogs we rescued and many of you supported with donations back in November. All the dogs were in very dire shape. Other rescues said no, it would be too costly for rehabilitation, but thanks to all of you, we said yes, we'll take them.

Little Tootsie was in severe neglect and near starving. She was also in a such a prison of hair and matting that she had severe nerve damage on her back feet. Both feet were destined to be amputated, but her new amazing mom works for a veterinarian and Tootsie only lost one foot. Now she's living her best life, in recovery from her physical and emotional neglect.

Tootsie wasn't a cute little Yorkie when she came into the rescue, but luckily we have supporters who can see past the trauma and into what sort of transformation can happen with love and care.

Thank you so much, Baucom for all you've done for Tootsie! And thank YOU, YROC Angels, for coming to the rescue when we have so many financial needs to help these doggos!

Animal rescue is HARD. The health, safety, and well-being of our rescued pups is our #1 priority. We operate honestly and transparently and do our best to do right by the pups that come into our rescue.
And we are VERY BLESSED with a wonderful family of supporters that we are very thankful for πŸ’—
And then we encounter this person who is obviously mad because she wasn't selected to adopt Ziggy. So she decided to pay us back by submitting a 1 star Google review. So sad that no matter how hard we try, we cannot live up to everyone's expectations 😞

**ADOPTED**

Do y'all remember Lionel? He is one of the 9 pups that were in horrible condition from severe neglect.
His foot is healed. His hair is growing back in beautifully. He has Bern neutered, microchipped, had vaccines, and a dental. And he is ready for a furever family to call his own. Please read his post on Rescue Me and submit your adoption application if you feel you are a good fit for Lionel.

*UPDATE:
Sammy's foster mom took him to the vet to have his leg evaluated after she noticed him holding it up while we was running. The xray showed an old femur fracture that was never treated and didn't heal correctly. Sammy will be heading back to the vet soon for surgery to repair that leg. He and Hope will not be available until after his leg is taken care of.
Thank you for your interest in these 2 precious babies. We will continue to accept applications for them. Hopefully we will find their perfect furever family by time they are ready to go.*
