📣 ANNOUNCEMENT!! Due to the surprise amount of snow this evening, Rowan County public schools - along with some of our neighboring counties - have canceled classes due to potentially dangerous road conditions tomorrow.
To ensure that everyone remains safe, the volunteers of Rowan Neuter Scooter and the staff of Community Pets have made the decision to CANCEL the clinic for tomorrow: Wednesday, January 22nd. All clients that are signed up have been notified and will be moved to the next week. The clinic will be RESCHEDULED for next WEDNESDAY JANUARY 29th. We may or may NOT have open spaces to fill for that date. IF so - we will announce that here.

Wednesday January 22nd will be the next low-cost spay/neuter opportunity for Community Cats at $45 per kitty!

Remember our *NEW* host location is at Park Avenue Community Center, 632 Park Avenue Salisbury NC 28144

Services provided by Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic for those Community Cats.

No dogs this day, and no cats in carriers, boxes or bags. Cats for this clinic must come in appropriate size (29-32 inch long), secure traps and they will be ear-tipped: no exceptions.

Complete the form AND pre-pay to secure your spots. Unpaid spots will be released. MAX of 4 cats per owner/caretaker. Space is limited. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

❄️✂️ SNIP-SNIP, let's go! ✂️❄️ Our first 2025 spay/neuter date for those friendly companion Cats & Dogs is here! Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic will be providing services for your pets.

Thursday, January 16th - hosted at the Park Avenue Community Center (632 Park Avenue Salisbury NC 28144). You must complete the online form AND pre-pay in order to secure your spot. Link to the sign up form is below.

This mobile clinic accepts friendly pets under 6 years old. Dogs that are UNDER 40 lbs. No smushy-faced breeds of cat or dog.

Other Important Info:
• Rowan County Animal Shelter vouchers ARE accepted for adopted pets, voucher is applied to SURGERY only - all other fees & services are due at sign up
• Cats MUST come in hard-sided carriers only (absolutely NO fabric, mesh, back-pack, or cardboard)
• ONE cat per carrier for safety & recovery
• No unsocial or feral cats accepted on this date
• Friendly Dogs must have a SECURE collar & be on leash (it is the law)
• Limit of 3 pets per family

Surgery Costs:
• Dog Spay: $160 | Dog Neuter: $125
• Cat Spay: $85 | Cat Neuter: $70
• Additional services available at added cost (SEE PRICING SHEET)

Spots fill fast! Sign-up is first-come, first-served. You must complete the form AND pre-pay in order to secure your spot. The only accepted method of payment is PayPal.

We had the opportunity to share the process, the goals, and the mission of Rowan Neuter Scooter with the members. Thank you Ms Erin Moody for inviting us and thank you to the club members for such a warm welcome!

✨️🎉 Our first clinic of 2025 is now in the books! Our friends at Community Pets Mobile Veterinary Clinic helped 35 more kitties get their ✂️snip✂️ on this chilly January day! Big thanks to Salisbury Parks and Recreation Department for hosting us in our new digs, and volunteers from Nova Vita Animal Rescue & Res-Q Runner for helping the day go smoothly! The patients ran the gamut from those curious about the new venue, to ones happy to just nap the morning away ! We are just getting started for 2025, and look forward to seeing YOU in the weeks to come! 🩵💚
