The City of San Angelo has hired Amanda Weddle as its new animal services manager. She began her role on Sept. 15.

Weddle brings more than 25 years of experience in animal care, including 16 years in animal services. Her previous roles include positions with the cities of College Station, Lewisville and, most recently, Frisco, where she served for the past nine years.
