One of my pet parents is looking for a home for her 10 yo Jack Russell Terrier. I have cared for this little girl multiple times and she is a sweetheart. She does have some special needs though. She needs to be the only dog in the home.
She has been around very few other dogs but does not do well around them. An older couple or someone who works from home would be ideal. Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested.

Today is National Dog Day! In honor of that I will be donating to Charlie’s Legacy run by Vicki Steerman. We have fostered for this rescue and adopted 2 of our fosters. As a small rescue Vicki helps many dogs using her own money. She is in dire need of funds as well as foster parents. With all the rain recently, mosquitoes 🦟 are out in full force. Unfortunately this can be devastating for our pets if not on regular heartworm prevention. This is a picture of heart worms in a coyote. Our pets are no different. Heartworm can be debilitating and affect other organs besides just the heart.

WARNING: I try to warn my clients when I see they have Sago Palms but wanted to post here for those I miss. All parts of the Sago Palm are extremely toxic to both cats and dogs!!! If you have them in your yard, please replace them with a non-toxic alternative. I have had more than one client who has lost their pet due to this plant. Many lost their palms during the freeze so now is a good time to replace them with something else. If you do decide to replace them be aware that if your dog digs up the remaining roots or chews on the discarded plant this could be lethal as well.

HE HAS FOUND A LOVING HOME!'! I am posting this again for all of my pet lovingHe friends. We still have not found a home for this kitty.

This kitten needs a good home. He is between 4-6 weeks old. He was found by an elderly gentleman. He has cared for him for about 2 weeks but cannot keep him because his wife is tripping over him. Let me know if you are interested and I will give you the owner’s contact information.
