This is only Doc's second time ground driving and it's his first time driving out of his pen. Less than a year ago he wouldn't let me touch him!

Gabby had a very spazzy personality and would spook at a lot of things, so I backed off of driving her and have only been working her in the round pen to really focus on her mind since before the first of the year. This week she let me know that she was ready for more and today was the first time in a while that I've ground driven her!

I have an opening for another mobile client! My availability is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. Minimum 2 hours/session and twice/week is required. My preferred area is Pipe Creek or Boerne, but I will travel within 50 miles of San Antonio. I offer general horsemanship classes, horse training for riding or driving, or lessons on your horse.

It's so neat to find that place where you and the horse are moving in sync; bodies matched in placement, position, and movement. Windigo is excellent at matching my body language.

One of my newest client's horses: Buck. He's building up some muscle and gaining weight to be able to comfortably take a rider. He did really well with the ground driving today.
And I had the cutest little helpers ☺️

We're coming up on June and I am looking for some more clients to fill up my schedule. I am a mobile trainer located in San Antonio and will travel 50 miles out for 1 hour sessions and up to 70 miles for 2 hour sessions. I offer:

>Western and English lessons-barrels, poles, ranch pleasure riding,
hunter/jumper up to 2'6"

Dazzle wasn't too keen on the reins going over her head, but 45 minutes later she was pushing her nose into them for me!

Snowy's first time working after becoming pregnant. She was off for about a month to keep her body as stress free as possible to protect that baby. Now she's set to work for the next 10 months😁 she did so well today!

My first time with Sunny in a space this large and also our first time cantering under saddle. I was told she was broke to ride in a bosal (no bit, the reins attach to a stiff band around the nose), but she was very unresponsiveness with the bosal. I tried her in a 3 piece snaffle bit and she was soooo much more responsive, so we got to work on some directions and transitions. I'm excited to move forward with this mare!

Fancy and I went for a trail ride yesterday, and her neck reining is so good! She was such a joy to ride. Also, I realized that since January she's only had about 30 rides! Way to go Fancy!

Zingo, out for his weekly drive. 6.2 miles today! And he trotted, without stopping, for 1.2 miles! Good workout 😁 He's also getting much better at standing at the stop signs and waiting for a command to go.
