Hey guys. I’ve been sick and hurt since the beginning of December. With that being said I am back out treating horses. So if you would like to get on schedule I am pretty open right now.

For a year I have been trying to get Abercrombi to put on weight. He never looked “bad”. But in my eyes he definitely needed more weight. I treated him for ulcers and hind gut ulcer multiple times. He would put on weight and look good. But still not where I thought he needed to be. But then would drop off again. We did Pro Care and Omega Force. Two amazing feeds I’ve had amazing results with. All he could eat high quality coastal and alfalfa and still no great change. I was worried when he went in for surgery that he would stress and it would take forever to get weight on him. Well the surgery seemed to be the trick. The pain his back was causing him showed in his weight only. He was not every “sore” that he showed when we did vet checks. But obviously it was the one last piece I needed to fix. Because he has put on so much weight and we are backing his grain down to 4lbs a day now and he looks great. He has been rode everyday since released from the vet and hauled and he is holding his weight.
I’m glad he is finally comfortable and looking like he needs to look. Bluebonnet Feeds is amazing. And Lindsay Burer- Equine Nutrition Consultant has been by my side through the whole thing working with me to come up with solutions. Take away- it’s not always a feed thing and even though we had been over him multiple times. Pain was the underlying issues.

Had a great week at San Antonio stock show barrel race. Almost all the horses I worked on won checks!!! One won a scholarship 💜💜. Love getting these guys at the top of their game. Thank you for my wonderful customers and their horses.

Something we have been struggling to fix with Sharky is him being able to open his mouth wider. About 8-12mo ago I noticed him taking small bites of grain and hay and chewing small and not yawning at all. Taking a long time to eat. So I went about our normal check list and treated him for fore and hindgut ulcers. His teeth have been regularly by our amazing dentist Dr Warren. Said that aspect has been good. I used a different chiropractor then normal and saw no difference. I have been working on his head, TMJ, jaw, Poll area with the Acuscope and Myoscope regularly trying to get him to feel better and open wider. My friend Acuscope by Ashley showed me thing to work on in Glen Rose earlier in July. We worked on doing those things. I went to Daryl Elliot Monday for all the horses to get adjusted. Sharky and Abercrombi where out big time in neck, poll, shoulders. But after treatment today I got a yawn I have not seen in almost a year. I love seeing improvements like this. 💜 we still have a ways to go but this is a big step.
A little TLC on myself
Abercrombi had his teeth done by our amazing dentist yesterday. He said he would be surprised if he ever had his teeth done, if so maybe once but it’s been a long time. So with that being said his head popping, pulling and soreness should start getting even better with treatment. Now we have everything aligned and fixed his treatments will last longer. He loves getting treated. Today I worked on front feet.

When you have your run numbers for San Antonio let me know so we can schedule your horses treatment. We can do pre or post run. 1 hour prior to lasix. I will be there around 4pm on Monday.

Pebbles is getting front end and hind end worked on at the same time.
Not a great video. But Pebbles has always hated her ears or behind her ears messed with. She is has always shook her head when pressure is put on her. She hates you touching her there all together. I’ve done one treatment right there on her H28 point on each side. Her numbers showed inflammation. Now today is first day I’ve ridden her since treatment. She let me rub all over, put headstall on without flinching and shaking her head. Not a wonderful video. But you can see how she is relaxed and not worrying about me messing with het.
Here is an example of higher inflammation in the area. He is “melting” the gel at the whirl bone plates. When I read his numbers he was high which indicates inflammation.
