Winston Lee, a history teacher in Kentucky, shared a photo of one of his 11th graders' exams.

The student who gave away his points received a grade of 94%. The five bonus points would've increased his score to 99%, but instead they were given to a classmate, lifting her to a passing grade.

"Not all are great test takers or in a comfortable situation at home that allows them to focus on studying," Lee said. "I feel really great that it helped this student go from 58 points to passing. We don't know what her situation may have been."

Meet Jam! This girl is a perfect 7 years old and is a bit on the FLUFFY side, weighing 85 pounds, girl needs to shed a few pounds! She found herself surrendered to a shelter when her owner passed away and we were able to pull her and bring her here to find her the best home! She is housebroken and absolutely brilliant inside the house, she is obviously used to living inside a home. She’s great with kids, cats and all other dogs. She’s submissive and gentle, I can’t say enough about how wonderful this sweet girl is. Anyone would be lucky to have her as part of their family!

Welcome Poppi!

Poppi, the sweetest Basset Hound you’ll ever meet, was found wandering the streets near the border of Mexico for 2 weeks. He was covered in fleas, ticks, and sores while looking for a family to provide him love and comfort.

Poppi is very sweet and playful. He loves to get belly rubs and be near his humans. He gets along well with his foster brothers and doesn’t mind when they bark at him nonstop - he just looks and away and does his own thing. He gets along with all dogs, big and small, and is good around children.

He is a little clumsy with his big body and ears but we think that makes him all the more loveable. He is a chill dog that likes to relax and sleep while still getting bursts of playful energy. Poppi has yet to have an accident in the house and quickly learned how to use the doggy door.

Poppi is not available for adoption just yet. He needs to see our vet first.
