Adventures of Huxley - the Foster Huxley was found on the side of the road with a bag of Pedigree food. He was brought back to me to foster which I have been doing for the last 3 years.

Huxley helps me work with broken rescue pups that need a little extra help. All his antics included. We work with multiple rescue groups to help dogs that may need some behavior work. Any contributions will go to continuing education for training and vet care. Sometimes we rescue independently. We currently have 2 dogs in care, one of which is a hospice foster senior needing senior panels and care

Teaching Huxley to do silly little behaviors has seriously been so fun. ♥️ I always say that training should be fun for the learner! But he makes training fun for the teacher too!

Loose leash walking.

It saves my shoulder sockets.

If I can teach him to do it, you can teach your pup too! He was a horrible puller, we are still working on it around heavy distractions but he is far better than he used to be.
We will keep working! But look how good he does! And constantly checks in with me. ♥️

Huxley was ready to GET OUT of the vets office. Dr Kirby said he’s a very healthy boy! His heart sounds good and he’s a healthy 87 lbs. His report card said he was very well behaved in the back but rubbed his nose so hard in his towel after his bath it got super red so they gave him a B12 shot. Dr Kirby said he’s big but has very sensitive skin… I just think he’s a very sensitive boy 😂😂🤣 He’s all medically clear for Washington!
