This is Joy and she is a joy. She is a very loving and active dog. She came to us from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma. Originally she was in the Beeville, Texas shelter. Joy could use some basic training and will make someone a great pet.

Rayden was surrendered, by his family, to our rescue. He was originally adopted from City of San Antonio Animal Care Services about 7 years ago. He is a special little guy. He is a little anxious, but will make a great pet for someone who is often home and has a dog buddy for him to play with.

This is Rosalee. She was rescued from Care Services in San Antonio. She was only 7 months old. She is now available for adoption. The other dog, in both pictures, is Sirius. Sirius is also available for adoption.

This is Sirius. His name was Groves, in the San Antonio Shelter, named for the street he was found on. Sirius has made many dog and people friends since he has been in rescue care. He is looking for his forever home. In the picture, on the right, he is posing with his friend, Rosalee. Rosalee is also available for adoption.

These 10 puppies will be available for adoption in about 4 weeks. Adoption fee is 250.00 plus a 100.00 deposit for spay/neuter. This is Bo. A young Lab weighing about 70 to 80lbs. Vet says he may be at 125 full grown. He needs, as all pups do, basic training. He was found on the streets of San Antonio.

We have 9 puppies that were found under Southwest General Hospital, in San Antonio. Since they were rescued over time, because they were in a cavernous underground area, their medical care will not all be completed at the same time. Inquiries and applications for the puppies can be made via email at [email protected]. All adoptions will require a phone interview, a home visit and an approved application. The adoption fee is $300.00, if local to the San Antonio area. Otherwise the fee will be 375.00 plus transport costs paid directly to a transporter that Charlie's Legacy approves. The adoption fee includes spay or neuter, chip and all vaccines, at minimum. A very important determinate of adoption approval will be a vet reference.

The 7th and 8th puppies rescued are Poppy and Pearl.

The first puppy rescued was Chubbs. He is a male and is potty trained. His foster is Susan Ponce and she will be happy to talk to you about him.
