Buck is here for our puppy board & train program. Our main goals for his stay are building confidence and making big strides in potty training. He’s a sweet, sensitive pup who just needs a little help finding his footing and we’re so excited to help him get there!

Impulse Control in Action 🐾✨

Advanced obedience doesn’t happen overnight—it’s built moment by moment, challenge by challenge. Snookie is with us for 8 weeks to master staying focused on her mom, even in busy public spaces.

Today, we found ourselves at the park right as 40 kids came running out to play. For a social butterfly like Snookie, this was the ultimate temptation—but instead of diving in, we sat off to the side and practiced impulse control.

There’s nothing she would’ve loved more than to join the fun, but she held it together beautifully. Just watching the excitement and choosing calm? That’s real-life training gold.

Progress isn’t always flashy—it’s in the stillness, the self-restraint, the quiet choices. And today, Snookie made some great ones. 💪🐶

Penny put in the work during our Saturday training session at Luke’s Lodge and absolutely crushed it! To celebrate all her progress, we made a stop at Pink Coffee & Co. for a well-deserved pup cup.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our Lodge dogs succeed and enjoy a little treat afterward!

Big Day for Little Penny!

Penny, our 17-week-old Cavapoo superstar in training, had her very first public outing—and she totally crushed it!

We took a trip to Tractor Supply today to work on her public manners, and wow, were we impressed. Penny showed off her polite leash walking, practiced her sits and downs around distractions, and even got some compliments from the staff (she loved the attention, of course).

Outings like these are such a big part of building confidence and social skills in puppies, and Penny handled it like a pro. Way to go, girl!

Next stop: the world!

D, a 7-month-old Shepherd, is currently enrolled in our two-week board and train program to develop basic obedience skills and enhance her listening abilities.

Penny has been here a whole month and time has flown by. We have mainly been focusing on potty training and socialization. This month we kick it up a notch and start working on her basic obedience. This 15 week old puppy is brave, happy and eager to learn.

Penelope’s got the zoomies AND a social calendar! This sweet girl is off for an afternoon visit with her family while she’s in our Puppy Board & Train program. She’s been learning fast, loving big, and melting hearts all around Luke’s Lodge!

We are training, Penelope, a 12 week-old puppy. It is such a rewarding experience! 🐾 We're working on the basics like potty training, sit, down, place, and crate training. It’s amazing to see how quickly she’s learning. It’s all about consistency, positive reinforcement, and patience. 🐕✨ Can’t wait to see how much she grows and learns over the next few weeks. Puppy training isn’t always easy so please reach out if we can help you!
