Please say hello to our new foster, Bali! Bali is just a baby at 12 weeks old. After experiencing a 3rd re**al prolapse, she was surrendered to FBRN. She had a colopexy last week given her history and the chance that another prolapse could occur. She is recovering well and showing her spunky personality!

Can you help Bali stock up on necessary supplies? She needs some activities to keep her busy while she recovers and to help her foster dad manage potty accidents

ℹ️ A colopexy is a surgical procedure in which the colon is attached to the abdominal wall and secured. It is most commonly used to treat re**al prolapse in dogs. Re**al prolapse occurs from any health issue that causes excessive abdominal straining. The problem is usually visually obvious, as a portion of the colon will be protruding out from the dog's a**s. A colopexy is generally the final option of treatment if a reduction and string suture have proved ineffective.
