He’s my bunny wrangler. My body guard. My fellow educator. My photographer. My fiancé and life partner!!

He comes to every appointment. He listens and learns. He is steadfast and every bunny and human loves having him around. And he never asks for recognition or praise. He does it for the love of me and the bunnies.

PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION.
Petco is going to start working with breeders and mills to start selling rabbits at their stores. It just breaks my heart. Rabbits are the number three most abandoned pet. Rescues are constantly overloaded with requests. Rabbits are often impulse buys. In what way is this good for rabbits? ITS NOT.

I thought we were going to be better! Shame on you Petco.

‼️DO NOT BUY BUNNIES FOR EASTER - THEY ARE NOT STARTER PETS‼️
⚠️They have unique and complicated digestive systems that require extra care.
⚠️They have EXTREMELY fragile spines that can easily snap under even the most “gentle” children’s hands.
⚠️ They are a 10+ year commitment.
⚠️They require tons of room to explore and exercise daily and should NOT be housed in cages.
⚠️ They require exotic vets who are expensive.

So this Easter, think before buying a LIVING bunny for your kid. Get them a stuffed animal bunny, a chocolate bunny, or better yet go to a rabbit rescue to volunteer your time!

Ohhhh longhairs 🤦🏼‍♀️🐇

This little bun is one of five 2-3 month old buns I worked on last night!
They are all some mutt mix of double Lionheads, angora, and I think one might be a Jersey wooly. It’s so so hard to keep any long haired rabbits fur from getting matted, so I took my time to trim back their long fur and brush it out to help keep more of the inevitable at bay. 😅🐰

This bunny, likely a double mane lionhead, had the wonderful idea to get a thick mat RIGHT over his/her ge****ls. It took me a good half an hour, and with extreme caution, I was able to remove the mat. That will certainly make using the bathroom a lot easier! 🤣
