We’re so proud of Dietz and all his hard work this year! He has spent countless hours feeding, walking, and learning the ropes of how to show his steer this year for the 1st time. At age 9, he is one of the youngest to handle an animal well over 1000 lbs. 4-H is amazing and the lessons learned this year will last a lifetime!

Bottling up my favorite mesquite and horsemint honey…last of the stockpile. Looks to be a great year for horsemint, can’t wait to see what the bees produce this year!!

This drought is no joke…then my well started giving me fits that keeps water to the cows. New pressure switch, gauge, and pressure tank…and it’s like new!

We didn’t get much this year but it was great sharing the experience with the kiddos. The bottling process involved everyone...I poured, D put on the drip proof cap, Carlee attached the label and G licked any accidental drips off the super clean floor 😉
