Texas Love of Birds Behavioral Training

Texas Love of Birds is planning on hosting virtual education classes on exotic birds and behavioral training on certain subjects via Zoom. We don't have dates set yet but if interested please email [email protected]. There is a small fee for the classes. If you have a certain behavioral issue you would like us to cover please email and let us know. We will do our best to cover as many issues as we can for everyone. We want to remind everyone to make sure your bird(s) have plenty of fresh water in this heat! Especially birds that are outside. Changing out their water a few times a day will help them stay cool and hydrated. Also, make sure if they are outside they have shade!

Zazu is thriving in her new home! She has been an absolute joy to rescue and made each day magical! We are so grateful we could help Zazu and our wonderful Clients. And she went to the most amazing home. Thank you for adopting and taking such great care of Zazu Mike! ❤️🙏🦜

Texas Love of Birds has a new number and business hours. Mon- Fri 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Sat 10:30 AM - 4:30PM. And our new number is 210-817-4814. Our old number is still active and will be for awhile till everything is transitioned over. Just remember we are a rescue you will be screened and any of the birds here have to be a match with you. But please take the time to check out the birds we have for adoption on our website! Merry Christmas from all of us here at Texas Love of Birds! We will be closed till after the first of the year. I have been ill and need some time to rest. But the birds are doing great and well taken care of! Here are a few of the birds wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Meet Zazu, She is a 11 year old Solomon Island Eclectus. She was surrendered because her family situation changed. Zazu came from a family that loved her so much and they took really good care of her. Zazu has plucked some chest feathers. But confident that her plucking can be corrected quickly. As you can see Nelson our dog was so happy to see a new friend come join the Texas Love of Birds family!
