It’s always funny to me when people jump on our page and claim that remote collars are “shutting dogs down” and “inflicting pain and misery” onto them.

When you actually look at the dogs we train and rehabilitate with remote collars, you see that they are actually 10x happier than they were when they initially came to us.

Every dog that we’ve ever trained with a remote collar ends up as a better version of themselves.

These dogs understand what true freedom feels like.

These dogs learn that the world is much, much larger than the 4 walls of their home.

These dogs learn that training = going places with your owner and being highly involved in their every day life.

We have never seen dogs ruined from e collar training. That’s just something you hear about on the internet from the folks who have never actually tried them.

The truth is, the dog owners who are invested enough to learn how to use these tools, are the dog owners who are also terrified of “messing up their dogs.”

They’re educating themselves, using the tools as they were intended to be used, and they’re always learning about how to make themselves and their dogs better.

🙏Preach🙏

Again, the usual tool argument commences in the comment section when we talk about how prong collars make walks better for humans and dogs.

Of course WE as dog trainers can and should be able to train a dog on any type of collar. But That’s US. These dogs aren’t staying with us forever though. We have an obligation to our clients to give them the best results possible that THEY can also achieve.

These dogs are going back to their homes with owners who have lives outside of training their dogs.

If a tool makes things *quicker 😱* *better 😱*, doesn’t require as much skill for the handler, AND gets the dog out of the house, who REALLY gives a s**t?

Why are faster results a bad thing in this industry? So it should take 5 months to walk your dog instead of 5 minutes? Are we earning badges of honor on how long we struggle now?

We train for our clients, not our egos. And if we know a certain tool is going to help our clients win, then that’s the strategy we go with.

🐾 The Transformation of a Four-Month-Old Puppy! 🐶

Hey there, fellow dog lovers! Today, I want to share an incredible experience I had with a four-month-old puppy who was full of energy, but in dire need of some training and guidance. Let me tell you, it was quite the adventure!

This adorable furball was pulling on the leash like crazy and had a habit of nipping at his owners. On top of that, potty training seemed to be a work in progress. Determined to help, I took it upon myself to spend a whole day with this little bundle of joy, taking him on an exciting journey of learning and growth.

Our first stop was the park, where we could work on leash training and teach him to walk calmly by our side. With patience, consistency, and a whole lot of treats, we slowly but surely made progress. Little by little, he began to understand the importance of walking politely on a leash, and his enthusiasm was contagious! We received encouraging smiles from other park-goers who witnessed our training session.

Next up, we paid a visit to the vet to ensure our furry friend was in good health. It's always essential to keep up with regular check-ups and vaccinations to ensure a long and happy life for our beloved pets. Plus, it was an opportunity for our pup to socialize and become familiar with new environments.

After a successful vet visit, we headed to my house, where we focused on an important command: "place." Setting up a designated spot for him to relax and stay put, we spent a good two hours reinforcing this command. It was truly heartwarming to witness his progress as he started to grasp the concept. Connors, as I fondly named him, surprised us all with his eagerness to please and his quick learning abilities.

By the end of our training day, I was thrilled to see the transformation in Connors. The pulling and constant nipping were reduced significantly, and his potty training was on its way to success. It was a testament to the power of consistent training, positive reinforcement, and a whole lot of love.

I must admit, the bond that formed between Connors and me throughout the day was truly special. It's moments like these that reaffirm my love for puppies and my dedication to helping them become well-behaved and happy members of the family. Every single effort is worth it when you see their tails wagging and their eyes sparkling with joy.

So, here's to Connors and all the puppies out there who bring us endless love and laughter. Let's continue to provide them with the guidance, training, and care they need to thrive! ❤️🐾
